Good Tea, But Pricey & Loud - My Take on Bobazona (Rita Ranch) I recently stopped by Bobazona in Rita Ranch for a boba fix. Overall, it's a nice little spot in the area. I went for a large Thai Tea, and I have to say, the flavor was really good! It definitely hit the spot taste-wise. However, there were a couple of things that weren't perfect. Firstly, there seemed to be a lot of ice in the large cup, which felt like it cut down on the actual amount of tea I got. Secondly, the price felt a bit high – my large drink ended up being over $10 after I added an 18% tip. That seems a bit steep for a single boba tea. The atmosphere inside was okay, but the music choice wasn't quite for me. They were playing rap, and while I actually like rap music, the specific tracks playing felt a bit too hardcore for my preference while trying to relax with a drink. So, to sum it up: Bobazona at Rita Ranch has tasty drinks (at least the Thai Tea!), but be prepared for potentially lots of ice, a higher price point, and potentially loud/hardcore music depending on the day. It's a decent option if you're nearby, but maybe ask for less ice and be ready...

Any reasonable boba lover will not be fond of this place. The boba texture was good and the presentation was OK. But here's where things took a downturn. The sweetness level was inconsistent, swinging from overly sweet to oddly watered down. It left us disappointed as it lacked the balance of flavors that define a great boba drink. We indulged in the vibrant Hulk boba, a delightful concoction bursting with flavor, and paired it with the refreshing Arizona Sunset refresher, which surprised us with its creamy yogurt boba. Both drinks were not only delicious but also beautifully crafted. The menu is a treasure trove of options featuring a wide array of tempting flavors, all offered at incredibly reasonable prices.
