Filiberto's Mexican Food — Restaurant in Tucson

Let me start with, listen to your mother. Mine told me this wasn't a great location. First off, no staff was not at the counter when we arrived and we waited about 5 minutes before anyone took our order. There was no one else in the place but it still took 20 minutes to get our order only to discover that the ENTIRE order was wrong. Then when we had to go up and complain about our order, there was a different staff member who looked like he was stoned or drunk and we had to get his attention for help. We explained that the order was incorrect and showed them the receipt and it took ANOTHER 15 minutes to get 2 Carnitas plate orders. Still we were the ONLY people in the place. The carnitas were flavourless, the beans did not taste right and we were given 1 tortilla for 2 orders of carnitas. I went up to tell the cashier we needed another tortilla and he was going to charge me for it. But wait, there's more! The "salsa bar" should not even be given that name. The varieties tasted like they had been watered down. The men's bathroom had no working door handle or lock, and the toilet facilities were either out of order or hadn't been cleaned in who knows how long. Gross is the definitive word. Save your money. Went to get some tacos, waited 10 minutes to even order then was charged an extra amount for card, which is fine but my total before the extra was 10.80 and i was charged 11 then told after I needed to pay another 15¢. Was rudely informed by who seemed to be the cook about it. Once I received my food it was freezing cold, not even the center was warm. Tasted like cardboard. Staff is super friendly. Everything looks clean however the prices are ridiculous especially for the amount of food that you get…pretty unfortunate because it’s so close to my job but I rather drive further down the street to pay less and get more food. $13 for a half order of nachos and almost $18 for a full size order?! I could’ve paid that same amount for a full order at a nice restaurant. I won’t be spending my money here for my snack sized...
