Five Guys — Restaurant in Tucson

I had one of the worst experiences today trying Five Guys for the first time. After a long day at work, I decided to treat myself and placed an order through DoorDash around 7:40 PM. I was working on an assignment when I realized by 8:30 PM that my order still hadn't arrived.

To my surprise, the DoorDash driver called to inform me that Five Guys gave my order to someone else. I wasn’t notified until that point, which was frustrating. Still, I remained calm and reached out to DoorDash support. They reordered the meal at around 8:40 PM.

I waited patiently until 9:42 PM, only to find out that the restaurant canceled the entire order because they were out of fries and shakes. I would have been completely fine with just receiving the burger, but instead, they canceled everything, wasting both my time and money.

This whole ordeal left me tired, hungry, and extremely disappointed. I ended up staying awake far later than I should have before an early morning job—all for nothing. I truly expected better...

Why do your crews... there's two particular crews woman and fat guy... this morning they are very loud like laughing and talking? It's my first time to eat at your burger chain since my favorite burger of all time is In and Out Burger.. the crew there are very nice and even the other food chains like Taco Bell, Subway etc they don't talk and laugh so loud... I will not eat there again and will tell my friends not to eat there.. This happened this morning around 11am.. we didn't enjoy eating there especially me.. It is not pleasant this particular branch is near in Irvington just across Best Buy... Gosh it looks like that fat guy is gossiping about their customers which is not good business.. I have never experience this in the other food chains, reataurants, shopping malls etc... This fat guy is really is annoying... Sorry to tell this but I have to comment as I just had experienced this just this...

Lobby is filthy. There are 3 groups of people 13 total in lobby . 10 + associates + manager it’s almost 4pm and it looks a hot mess! I had to clean off table and chair just to be able to sit and wait for my order. I must of made them feel uncomfortable cleaning my table because 1 associate pointed out to look at me. Then he told someone else then they sent someone to clean lobby..Mind you I haven’t stepped into a five guy’s restaurant in several years. Just very unkept. $22 for a meal. The basic..Moral of the story NO MATTER HOW GOOD YOUR FOOD IS, IF YOUR ESTABLISHMENT IS UNKEPT! YOUR FOOD? Is it being handled & cooked properly & clean? It’s obvious that cleanliness is not a practice. The last experience my family had, there was a long straight hair in our burger. Manager did nothing about because it very well “could have been mine”! I have short curly hair..I will NOT VISIR ANOTHER FIVE...
