Service and food quality were fantastic. We were able to go in on a Sunday afternoon and we're seated promptly. The server came right over and assisted us fairly quickly. We placed our order and it came out at a decent speed nice and fresh. All of the sushi was nice and fresh with great flavor. Prices were comparable to most sushi places. They have a lot of options of sushi rolls and also side dishes. They do also offered Teppan-Yaki grill. We did not take that option this time. Since we were having primarily sushi. One of the best rolls we thought was the Vegas roll. Fried with tempura sauce and came out fresh and delicious. We did try for the first time the roulette roll. The roulette roll is a sushi roll with tempura batter on it wrapped inside of a jalapeño. The jalapeño was nice and spicy. At one point a little too spicy for my liking. But the flavor was really good.
At the end of our meal we received our check pretty quickly. The prices were pretty good and for four of us what we paid was comparable to eating out at any local restaurant. The only issue that we did have was as we were walking out we did notice two cockroaches climbing up the wall. We understand that it's a business and you could clean so much but that was a little disheartening because we do enjoy this place. We did not let anybody know, or make a big fuss about it. But it did kind of ruined the moment since we did see that take place after we eat our meal.
Hopefully if they read this review they will do something to help take care of that if they haven't done something about it already. I am not sure if we will be back because of that issue, but I cannot fault the staff or the food because that was all great...
Read moreCalled to see if hibachi/teppanyaki tables were still open around 8:50, beat them to the restaurant. (I think they forgot I was on the phone)
Believe the staff were very disoriented.
Once I arrived I was made aware the table was open for hibachi, and kitchen closed at 9:45, waited to be seated, took a bit and got seated.
As I was getting seated I was told orders need to be input by 9:15. (It was 9:08)
I knew what I wanted, I ordered just short of hastily and was presented with house salad and a bowl of mushroom udon (both great and fresh)
Waitress had a difficult time taking my order as she had to return and tell me NY Steak, Scallop, and Calamari wasn’t an “item” on the menu. To which I looked at the menu and said “ill take the Ny Steak and Scallop, add calamari” (which should’ve been common knowledge or gone over AT TIME OF ORDER)
Staff just seemed very new or disoriented. I understand it was late, they just kinda dropped the ball altogether.
The hibachi chef was very pleasant, fun, and exiting. Quality of food was great as well. Chef kicked me an extra egg in the fried rice as well as an accidental 2 pieces of shrimp with my steak.
So, props to chef.
This isn’t a terrible review, just hope for a bit of improvement.
I would return to dine here for sure. People have bad nights and I hope this gets to the correct hands, and...
Read moreWent out for a friend's birthday and had a great time. The atmosphere was nice, staff friendly, and delicious food. We definitely recommend the fried ice cream, Blushing geisha and Gummy bear mixed drinks. Our bill including tip was about $190.
The only input I have is that my utensil set that was wrapped in a purple cloth napkin had a 6 inch ~ blonde hair rolled up in it. It also had a white-ish stain on it. Not exactly sure what that could be but it seemed like smeared food. The hair couldn't have possibly been ours as we all have dark hair. It was not our servers' either as she also had dark hair.
I like cloth napkins but prefer disposable as they are easier to restock. Not only that but we like to clean up after ourselves and we were limited to the 1 cloth napkin. Maybe rolling 2 would be an idea. Using 2 paper napkin with a ring is also a good choice.
The empty side/sauce dishes were a little wet. My sauce dish had food on it unfortunately, so I opted to not use it rather than send it back.
The drinks menu is a little crinkled sheet with a lot of dead space. It could be made into half the size. There's no need for images but they seem like a nice addition.
Overall our lunch was great 👍 We had a great time and the server was amazing. The food was very well done. We will definitely be...
