I came to this Jack-in-the-Box on golfing in Wilmont Store number 1557 drive-through order number 134 On November 19, 2024 at 5:55 PM I had a very simple order, one junior cheeseburger, one small french fry and two classic cheddar bacon wedges. I went through the drive-through, paid, got home and realized they did not give me the small french fry. I called the store and right off the bat. I was literally thrown back by how unprofessional they are at the store, a man answered the phone he did not apologize, when I told him what I was missing, he said. “ Can you come pick it up?” I told him I could pick The small fry up, but it’s frustrating because you guys should’ve checked the bag before handing it out and now I have to travel back your way to pick up a small french fry and then he stay quiet and I said hello, and he said we will see you when you get here he hung up the phone. I drove back up To the Jack-in-the-Box I walked inside and they told me that they could not remake my order. I told them well. It’s unacceptable for one that you guys messed up my order by not giving me everything that I paid for and it’s unacceptable that I had to travel back 20 minutes to pick up a small fry and I was not about to have the rest of my food cold and I brought the food in the bag untouched I told them that they needed to remake my order and include the small Friday as they forgot I didn’t ask for anything extra, I wasn’t rude about it, The cook, whose name I found out is Johnny was giving me pushback about remaking my entire order, even though I had the food that they gave me in the bag with me, and then went outside, and I called one of my best friends that also works at the Jack-in-the-Box, but at a different store And I was waiting outside, which seemed like forever and put it this way, originally I went to the drive-through at 5:55 PM, I didn’t get my order until 7:28 PM. They had me waiting over an hour for my order and then they proceeded to tell me two times to please not complain. I Had Three small children in the car. They were aware of my children in my vehicle, and they still had me way over an hour for my food. Meanwhile, they were parking every single car at the drive-through and running people out their order. Meanwhile, I’m standing there waiting for my Order. I am owed an apology because I never got one and I do expect some type of compensation because it’s just ridiculous. The customer service sucked, the fact that I had to wait over an hour for a simple order because the cook Johnny had a chip on his shoulder for whatever reason, then running our orders, knowing that I’m literally standing there waiting for my order. It’s all ridiculous. The fact that One of the girl employees came out and said that she was trying to convince Johnny to remake My order and that if it was up to her if she would’ve jus Remade the order already. So then you fast-forward to 7:28 PM and she runs out with my food and she says, hey, I finally convinced him to remake your order. Please don’t complain, please don’t complain. Absolutely unacceptable in so many ways, I must also mention that while I was waiting outside for my order that Johnny, the cook, thought it would be a good idea to walk around the corner and throw his hands up at me. This is not the first time that I’ve had a very high concern with this store, they need to get it together because they are absolutely terrible. I hope that Jack-in-the-Box corporate or whoever read these reviews looks at the camera footage and they are literally going to be flabbergasted when they see that I was literally waiting over an hour...
Read moreOrdered breakfast items in the afternoon on Christmas eve. Big mistake! Placed my order thru drive thru as i am handicapped and it is difficult to get in and out of the car. I paid my bill and was instructed to pull around to the door and wait. I was told it was because they were making fresh food. I beg to differ!! After waiting for what seemed sn eternity a middle aged woman brought 2 small bags to my car. I had ordered 2 breakfast platters. They are a distinct size i assumed. I asked the woman if my platters were in the bags. She said yes. I was quite unsure so i asked her if she was sure. She said YES! As she walked away she very snottily said "merry Christmas". Before i left i looked in my bags,they were quite obviously someone elses order. I pulled into a regular parking spot and noticed the truck who had been after me in the drive thru parked there with a young man in it. I got my crutch out grabbed the bags and went inside the restaurant. The woman who brought my food chuckled when she saw me. I unpleasantly said i told you the platters were not there. The mgr took the bags and said he knew the problem and the poor customer gad been waiting a long time for his food. ( remember he was BEHIND me in the drive thru) the mgr promptly took the cold food out to the young man in the truck. Apparently my food had been ready a while too so it was packed up and unceremoniously handed to me by the young man from the drive thru. He was obviously uncomfortable at being in the middle of the situation. Neither the mgr or the middle aged woman ever apologized and quite frankly treated me like i was in the wrong for coming there on Christmas eve!! Maybe i was. Read moreSadly, the late night Manager chose to take a very rude attitude & tone with My family & myself, after asking Us & literally 7 other vehicles to pull forward & pls wait for our food (which we ordered through the app ahead of time btw) & it wld be right out... Well, after over 20min of waiting & watching 5 of those 7 cars AFTER US get served, but not Us; We decided to ask Him what happened to Our order & He was SO rude with not only his response but sarcastic tone, but also showed NO remorse at all & then when we confronted him aboit Not speaking to customers that way; he acted as though He had No idea what we were talking about & acted as though He did nothing wrong?! (I Must Note that the other worker on the clock, who was also NOT the Manager, was Very Kind, apologetic, & took time to kindly explain to Us WHY our food was taking longer. I wish I knew his name- "You were Great Sir! Ty!") Sadly though, this is now the 2nd time recently that My Family & I have had issues with this one particular night manager & his VERY sarcastic, non sympathetic attitude/tone & act of stupidity &/or dumbfoundedness when called on; & then to top it all off... Once We finally DID get our food & got home to eat- ALL of the tacos were hard, cooked extremely too long, & All tasted Very gross & burnt😭; so I felt It was time to leave a review & see if anyone else has experienced any similar things with this particular night manager, at this specific Jack in the Box...
