Viva Burrito Co. — Restaurant in Tucson

Worst service!!! Came around 9:30pm (closes @ 10pm) pulled up to the speaker to get my order in and no response. Pulled to the drive thru window and no one to be found. The sign in the front said drive thru open. Knocked on the window in the lobby because the doors are closed and an older lady who was the cook said to go back around and order at the drive thru.. And I did, once again no answer... the guy from the other establishment next to viva said i think they are closed and explained to him it doesn't close until 10pm. Came back around to the drive thru window and got down once again while husband is at the drive thru waiting knocked on the lobby window again. The cook went and got the young girl as i seen her come from the back and im calling the restaurant and the young girl answered. I explained that we have been waiting she stated that the headset wasn't working. I told her my husband at the window waiting to order. At this point I'm irritated and it seems like they didn't want to work, and the headset was hanging on the wall. Will be calling to discuss about...

I don't like to focus on the negative, but in this case there wasn't 1 positive thing to say. They got my order wrong, the service was fast only because nothing was even warm. I went back and had them replace the order, even faster that time. Because nothing was even luke warm. They did noth ng in consideration for their mistake and charged me for the more expensive order, which was wrong. I should have looked at the reviews before going here, but I was tired and hungry and it was on my way home after a fight and long drive from Pheonix. Read the reviews!!! This place isn't worth it!

The girl at the counter had to check with the woman in back if she understood the order. Then, instead of giving me the tamale's (I wanted them for New Year's, not THAT night) she sticks them in a pan. Tried to tell her I wanted them for later, she just looked at me like "what do you want me to do now?" .. I just shut up and waited for my order. As far as the tamales themselves go .. they were okay. Not great, but they could have been with a minimum of TLC. I know this for fact. Spent many hours putting the masa on those corn leaves in the early 70s. Not something you forget! Little bit more red chili, little more grease in the masa and juice for flavor and they would have been...
