The rating here is only because these folks haven't been open long, and they opened at one of the worst times for business in US history. That said, this place needs work.
It's a pretty basic dive. Cheap lagers and bottom shelf bar basics to drink, fried or cheesy food to eat, a pool table, and TVs. None of the expected dive gimmicks — no specialty shots, branding, or quirky foods — as far as I can tell.
I'd come here if it were walking distance from home, I guess. The staff is pretty friendly, it's nice to find a dive with food at all, and the burnt bottom of my quesadilla actually infused a nice smoky flavor into the cheese.
If you're looking for a bar that has the vibe and stock of a man cave but with less decor, I recommend this place. And if you don't like it now, the bartender suggested they'll be making changes over time, so it's worth checking back in a few...
