La Michoacana - The Ice Cream Spot — Restaurant in Tucson

I loved this place when they first opened ,but not any more. I had took my daughter there in December and we got ice cream and I had found a hair in her ice cream I didn’t mind because they usually are very good and look very clean I had informed them the traded the ice cream but I noticed they didn’t swap out the bad batch but I assumed they did. It after I left. I had went there January 28 2024 and I got two strawberry raspados and they didn’t put any fruit and they were in a hurry to get me out I was at the cemetery visiting my dad for his anniversary so I called because I was going to come back after I was done visiting when I told her I had no fruit she told me that’s how they come and I been their before more than one I think I have a picture of when I got a raspados with fruit in it she was very rude and told if I wanted a refund I just wanted it to made right and she was trying to convince me that’s how they are made and she can’t do anything about it I think because she thought I was white i wouldn’t know the difference but if I told you I been there and bought multiple raspados why still say that’s how they’re are mad I think the guy that made it did it that why because I went the wrong way by accident and got in front of him when he was coming in the other employee that watched him make the raspados corrected him because he was going to leave the...

Called the place to let them know their cueritos were bad, due to it smelling really bad and due to that I have food poisoning. I spoke to them in Spanish because I explained I got food poisoning and she kept saying that their food does not have poison. The lady kept changing my words and were answering very rude and unprofessional. I did let them know that I was not asking for a refund or a remake, that I was just warning them that their product was bad or expired. At the end of the call the “owner” told me she didnt understand what I wanted and proceeded to raise her voice. I did let her know that there was no need for that, that they are very unprofessional and that I would be doing a review. She said “Esta bien Dios te bendiga y que pase bonita noche”. At least she blessed me before hanging up. I just read their reviews and noticed she has other reviews where her food is not cooked correctly. Lesson learned, read the reviews before...

We had a horrible experience at this location. Waited in line trying to get service. No one would make eye contact with us as we were trying to tell them we were ready. I finally got the attention of someone and told them we were skipped in line and the two employee standing next to each other laughed and insulted us in Spanish thinking we couldn’t understand them so we walked out to take our business elsewhere. I used to love this place so much but after that treatment I will not be coming back and I will be telling all of my friends to avoid this place.
