I hit the drive-thru here yesterday morning, I asked for some pepper for my two sausage egg-mcmuffins, apparently in a cost cutting measure, the manager running the pick-up window made it a point to count out exactly two? Then l got a mile away when l noticed my ice tea was filled almost completely full of ice, after drinking the tea it literally was full of ice to within 1/4 inch from the top of the cup. It was 37* outside at the time. I suppose l should he grateful that he took such a proactive interest in ensuring that my ice tea would remain cold for days while filling it with x4 the volume of ice Vs tea. I have never had an issue with this McDonald's before, but even though it only cost $1.00, l was left feeling I had been deliberately and institutionally CHEATED by jamming the cup full to capacity with ice. During the course of my day, I spoke to numerous people who advised this store consistently engages in this intentional act of theft! In a covid environment , while restaurants are struggling , one must really ask themselves , is this really how you should (mis)treat customers? Is this really how l should be rewarded by supporting this business? Kinda hard to justify going back to complain when it's the manager cheating customers. Read moreI ordered online and pulled up the drive thru and the robot confirmed my order. Which was weird but whatever. Then went to the window and NO ONE acknowledged us. It wasn’t busy. No one was in the dining room or drive thru. I understand if they have to cook new food but hey someone say “hey we’re dropping new chicken, it’ll be a moment.” Not let us sit there 10 minutes until we pull around and ask what’s going on. And when we asked what was going on the manager was snotty as hell. I’m a millennial. I’ve worked a lot of food service. I’m not a Karen about stuff. But this McDonald’s SUCKS. It shouldn’t take 20 minutes to get a couple mcchickens. The manager, Maria, yelled at me and refused to get a refund and said I need to do it though the app. I tried through the app, and it said I needed to do it at the store. When I called she proceeded to yell at me and refuse to give me the number of corporate and hung up on me. So I’m now out money and hungry. This location is awful and the manager is a snotty child.
Update; it has been 2 and a half weeks and numerous calls to corporate where I keep being told the franchise owner will contact me and they never do. I ended up having to file a charge back on my card. Way too much of hassle for $16 of...
Read moreI make the dinner runs for the nurses and CNAs on my unit. We only get 30 minutes and it's never enough time to go get food, eat and come back. So I go for everyone. The first time I went, the guy at the drive thru window was trying to convince the man in the car in front of me to take part of my order. He told the man he wasn't charged for it, it was an error and was free. The next 2 times I went the whole entire orders were messed up. Items were the wrong sizes, food was missing and drinks were wrong. I called and spoke to a manager who was very pleasant. She put me down for a replacement order at a later time. Due to a very rapid spread of Covid on my unit (staff and patients) I was unable to go until today. I went up there to claim my replacement order and was greeted with whole lotta attitude from the girl at the first window. I went inside to place my order after being giving the wrong info from the girl at the window. The lady who waited on me was polite. While I was waiting for my order another employee burst through the door dropping the F bomb because they were busy.
Not sure what is going on at this particular location. Unprofessional. Rude. No attention paid. Needless to say. I won't be back to this location. Speedway...
