URGENT NOTICE TO MANAGEMENT, EMPLOYEES, AND ALL CUSTOMERS:
Something is SERIOUSLY WRONG WITH YOUR SODA FOUNTAIN!
LAST WEEK I COMPLAINED THAT MY COKE TASTED like IT WAS SPIKED WITH BOURBON and i was told management would look into it immediately.
A couple of hours ago I ordered a large coffee and a hash brown, a sausage egg and cheese meal with a regular Coke, and a couple of other things. I received a small coffee and a LARGE COKE. AGAIN IT TASTES LIKE BOOZE!
I can overlook flubbed orders. I can't count the times i had to apologize on drive thru for messing up. What im finding issue with here is the disregard for what appears to be basic health standards at your store.
What the heck is going on there McDonalds? I think you need to clean your soda fountain- thoroughly- check your levels of syrup to carbonate, and expiration dates. Taste your beverages after you put them back together each time. All of them. I'm just trying to offer advice. If you're overwhelmed there's no shame in saying so and asking for help. I'd be happy to come in and help train the new crew you need to hire! I need a job... Sh.....t.
M original review rated at three stars and did not include a comment. Three stars were based on a somewhat large drive thru order which totaled nearly seventy dollars.
The food which was brought to us in a parking spot after an insane wait of 27 minutes - yes i notice that kind of stuff -was all wrong and despite repeatedly stressing the particulars of our food allergies, no one got to eat any of it. None of us anyway, we had to give it away to a couple of homeless kids and their dogs up the road. We called immediately after returning home and finding the mistakes and were assured it would be taken care of so when Google asked me to review the place the next day i didn't say anything.
A few days later we returned to have our order replaced. Unfortunately, no record of our complaint existed except a photo of the receipt, food and our phones call detail screenshots on my phone.
After nearly twenty minutes of persistence we were granted our due recompense. They were even kind enough to include a super sized side of classic gum popping attitude! It was all so American, very entertaining. thanks for that but the way. We were so grateful to be able to close the account and escape the trench scented ambiance of this store... It's truly overwhelming, by the way. In addition, the noise level coming from behind the female employee- the one with the eye rolling condition?- was at level: tie breaking touch down in overtime.
That's all I've got McDonald's. Hope you guys hear me this time.
No one likes wasting cash, wasting food, wasting time in line, wasting time on the phone instead of pigging out with friends, wasting breath on food orders they wont receive, wasting breath on complaints which won't be heard, wasting fuel in queue. No one likes feeling as if their health is unimportant!
... and no one likes soda from...
Read moreWent this morning and my 7 yr old son wanted to buy his own breakfast with a visa giftcard he got for Christmas. I thought it would be a little life lesson between father and son. McDonald's totally ruined it. We ordered 2 mcmuffins, fries, and 1 hashbrown. $7 worth of food. The girl slides my sons Visa and says we still owe $18 😕. I told her there's $20 left on the card and check again. She insisted my total was $28. She called the manager and the management told me the exact same thing. I still owed like $8 according to these geniouses. (This was 930am in the drive thru.) I explained what we ordered AGAIN and they finally said, oops! We had the wrong order. So they totally ruined my son paying for his first meal himself, pissed me off, wiped all the money from his card, had to refund it,pissed off 10 cars behind me,had to call Visa to verify the refund was actually done, and then if course we got no napkins. We'll never go back again. A completely frustrating start to the day.
⛔⛔⛔ UPDATE. Went yesterday, 2-08-23 to use the pull up and order feature. The entire system was down so we had to go into the store which we had absolutely zero free time to do. But my son wanted something so we went in. I refuse to use those touch screens that they force everyone to use. The lady persisted that I use it. I told her I don't want to use it, I'm trying to save her job. Apparently all the cash registers weren't working so we had no choice. They over charged me due to all the confusion with the mobile app and suddenly all the registers were working to adjust my total. It took 15 minutes for a kids happy meal! I received zero points on the app which we use alot because the kids absolutely love the fries. So it was another bad experience and I've yet to be contacted by them.🚫🚫🚫🚫 Went tonight because my son wanted it. The app wasn't working and the girl at the window refused to refund my money. I simply shut my car off in the drive thru and asked her to explain why. She says "I just cant." I again asked why like 3 more times until magically she gave me my refund! I absolutely hate this place and the kids working there have absolutely zero...
Read moreIt is now too pricey to get food at McDonalds. I am not getting paid any more than I was last year, but because of desires to increase profits and keep with interest rates, it is now out of my price range to eat here.
Today, I went to this specific McDonalds to get a hash brown and on the way I was speaking with my fiancée about how much I could spend on a hash brown before it became too much to justify. The answer is $3.00. I will not spend $3.00 on a slab of potato that maybe cost the franchise owner 10 cents to purchase in bulk.
A 10 Piece Chicken Nugget Meal (Large size) is now $14.50 after tax. If I wanted a second meal for anyone else I'm eating with, that's $25+. With a 20% off coupon it maybe drops down to being $23 or $22. All this being said and there are only more price increases on the horizon.
At the rate we're currently going, I wouldn't be surprised if it was $5 for a hash brown by the start of 2025.
What could I purchase for this much in Tucson elsewhere? Sushi - $5 - 8 roll Pizza - $8 - 14 per pizza ($1 - $2 a slice if you're curious) Mexican food - ~$15 - $30 for two meals at a decent sit down place
The staff at this location specifically have always been very kind and very nice. The problem is that McDonalds, it's franchise owners, and those that support it are looking to increase their profit margins by larger amounts to further divide poor classes from rich. At this rate, I hope others will start to see just how unjustifiable it is to eat at McDonalds in 2024. We are not making any more money than we were before at our current jobs going from 2023 - 2024, and yet fast food, the previously inexpensive and quick fix, is now the price of good and better quality take out. I myself am a teacher, who can barely afford fast food nowadays.
To franchise owners in Tucson, please reconsider increasing prices. It will only diminish your sales, which will give you the options to increase prices more to maintain sales margins, or decrease prices to allow for more business. If you increase your prices higher than they are, drive thru lines are going to become a...
