I loved this place but Saturday night, I got a Pollo Asado burrito and it gave me the worst food poisoning. It's Monday and I am still suffering from the worst gas pain I have ever had. They really need to make sure their chicken is still good before serving it. I know it was Nicos because I hadn't eaten anything else all day that day. The lady who works the drive through at night is very nice, I can't say the same for the other staff especially the "manager"
UPDATE 5/26/2020 I actually called and asked to speak to the manager because I am 100% certain I got food poisoning from here (DO NOT eat the chicken). I have had excruciating stomach pain for 3 days and I even had to call out of work because the pain is so bad. I may as well marry my toilet now since we have spent soooo much time together. Anyways, when the "manager" got on the phone and I told him what happened and that I got food poisoning from a Pollo Asado burrito, he couldn't have cared less (time for a new manager). He just told me they always cook all their chicken through and blah blah. I said it doesn't matter if you're cooking rotten chicken and I can call the health inspector and they can tell you the same thing. He said "go ahead and call". That is, by far, the worst customer service I have experienced from a "manager" at a restaurant, especially when a customer is calling you about food poisoning. That should be taken very seriously EVERY SINGLE TIME!!! Maybe Arizona needs to pass a law where people need to be certified on how to properly handle food. I'm starting to doubt if they put their chicken on the bottom shelf like it's supposed to be. I am beyond furious with the "manager's" total lackadaisical attitude about food poisoning. Update: So I got a call back from the Pima County Health Department and they said they went in and found a few things that were bad including the lettuce and the rice. They said that could have been what made me sick. I'll never eat here again. Just go to Los Betos or Guero...
Read moreCustomer service is terrible...they always get my order wrong ..I only go back because it's 24 hours and I had to stop doing that..the service gets worse every time. They charge so much because they know people will pay it ..do to the fact that not much is open late night/ early morning...if u ask for no onions....best believe you are getting a lot of onions...that happened to me ..I took a picture of my burrito and called them about it and they said if I had a receipt...I was never given a receipt I told her..she was the one who took my order..remembered me and remembered me specifically saying no onions...and still said she couldn't do anything about it without a reciept..This place is evil ..I could see if maybe they thought I said plus onions ...instead of no onions ...as a mistake..but she knew it was no onions....the amount of onions on that burrito was beyond the amount of double extra onions.. they had no reason to even be like that with me ..because there was no issue at order...I was not rude ...I did not have an attitude whatsoever...these people are making my food and I have no visual of them...so there's no way I'm going to be rude...I don't want to take no chances...so why they did my burrito like that ...was pure evil...no reason ..just terrible...it's basically ...eat with caution...or better yet...learn from my experience and save yourself from being treated like I did..and they actually stole my money because I couldn't eat that..Noone would...and couldn't get my...

I called and told her she got part of my order wrong and that I will be in later to pick the correct part of the order when it stops raining. I expressed the business should make it right for her mistake and inconvenience and she said she couldn’t. I asked for the managers name and she said she didn’t know the managers name. When I opened the rest of my order I saw she got the whole order wrong and called back to let her know. She said, “oh at first it was just the beans and now it’s the whole order” and then hung up on me. I had to drive back to Nicos on Campbell and tell Jackie to correct the order and that I didn’t appreciate how rude she was with the paying customer. She rolled her eyes and said, “why are you here to make trouble”. Right, me the paying customer was there to make trouble because the employee is too incompetent to customers orders correct the first time. On my way out Jackie said laughing “look at you going out into the rain”. At that point I had it with this woman’s bad attitude and told her to refund my money. She said, you’ll have to wait and took her sweet time about it.
