The service was quick and I never had an empty water cup. That being said the servers constantly trying to push drinks on you, every time they walk away "only water???" The food is on the pricey side and honestly it was just okay. The tamales were dry and looked old while the soup was fantastic (we had meatball soup and white menudo soup). I had the sampler plate and while the food looked great the flavors were a bit on the bland side and the amount of cheese was over the top. The salsa was tasty but had no heat. The guacamole dip appetizer was very good. My buddy had the flautas plate and he said they were good "the chicken was tasty". The flan was good but not great, it had a tapioca pudding flavor more than anything. He had the fried ice cream and it was like the fried coating wasn't cooked enough so it was chewy like dough. The atmosphere was absolutely amazing and the staff was super friendly. This is definitely a solid 3 out of 5. If the prices were a bit more reasonable it could slide into a low four but for the price the quality just isn't there.

This was my first time there. The food was so delicious, but the service was so horrible. I can not even believe what I experienced. The waiter completely got our orders mixed up several times and had to take the food back twice. The chicken mole was cold, and when he brought it back 15 mins later, it was the same plate but with French fries on it . My nephews order a cheeseburger and he brought out a hamburger we told him and he took it back and brought it back about 5 mins later with cheese on that was not even melted and the bun just fell apart. Oh, it gets better. we order 5 chimichangas chili Colorado style with Enchilada sauce on top of all of them he brings them all out without any sauce, so again, we have to wait. So we ask to speak to a manager no manager comes one of the waitresses says she is a manager and let me tell you there was no compasation or nothing to order . I could not believe this, and there were 14 of us, so they should have accommodated us, but no, they didn't

Not impressed.. a friend took us there because she said it was good, but we found it to be the contrary. We got seated and after a brief wait we got our drink order, the waitress spilled the drink and got everywhere, including my new fancy shoes that were not cheap.. no apology etc. Then after a long wait the food got served, small portions, nothing to be excited about specially when the dish is $15.99!! I ordered the best margarita and they said it was the Cadillac, well that was by far the worst margarita I ever had, it was so bad that I let everyone taste it and all agreed it was terrible. You could taste the mixer and the cheap cuervo tequila. Disgusting... The only dish served that was any good was the flauta. Other than that, I don't recommend this place...even at the end, no apology for ruining my shoes and clothes, nor we got asked how the nasty food was. There are many other places better than this. Very arrogant people. Este lugar no es bueno.

Ordered take out on 06/05 for my wife and I. I walked in and waited for almost a full 5 minutes before being acknowledged by the hostess (which the bartender had to tell her I was there). It was a rough start but over 10 minutes after acknowledging me and going into the kitchen the hostess said the delay was only due to not packing the tacos until last minute so it would be really fresh. When I got home we were missing half our order, the chips were so old I'm guessing they were from yesterday, and the beef tamale had what can only be described as something that might have once been cheese but was too rubbery and fried beyond recognition (not sure how that combination happned). Also, do they put raisins in ther tamale becaise it sure looked as if they did. I know it comes with a green olive but these were definitely not olives OR green. I have never come across anything like that in a tamale. I called and asked for a manager but was told the store doesn't have one on by Beatrice and she asked why. Frustrated I just asked to please have them call me back. 30 minutes later I got a call back from Beatrice who again asking what was wrong? I said it was about the quality of service and food. She then said I'd get a call back from the manager and would pass on the message. It's been 2 days and I called back tonight only to get the same worker and be told there's no supervisor or manager but she'll pass on the message again. Long story short I paid $38.80 for two meals, only got part of it, literally couldn't chew the other half, and the store has not offered OR appears to be willing to make it right after multiple contacts. This is not our first bad experience here but it is the first time things were bad enough that I asked them to do something. Their lack of response has guaranteed we won't be back. I wish I could post a picture of what was inside my tamale but I don't see a way to add it on here. update Called everyday from Tuesday until Friday to get a supervisor or manager at the Campbell location. I was told there wasnt one the entire week. Wanting to get this resolved I stopped by the Grant location and spoke with the supervisor there. She was very nice and put me on the phone with the owners son Gilbert while I stood there. Gilbert told me he could not issue a refund when I asked but offered to redo the meal. I did not want to eat from the Campbell location again so he agreed to have things redone at the Grant location. He asked me to have it done within 7 days but just give him 24 hrs notice. He then also asked me to send him the photos of the food and that he would like to speak with me that Sat at noon. I waited to update until today to see how the follow through went. First, I received no phone call on Sat. I texted Gilbert 2 days ago (Monday) to give the 24+ hrs notice we were planning on stopping in tonight. No response. I then texted again yesterday (Tuesday) asking if we were still ok to come in. No response. Today I called the restaurant hoping a note or call was made to inform them if our order redo. No such luck. The manager I spoke to last week was already off for the day and the lady at the front desk told me to call the Campbell location to resolve my issue even after hearing me explain what happened. Long story short, we went to the Grant location atleast a few times a month with the occasional visit to the Campbell location. We were pretty regular customers and now we just won't be eating at any Casa Molina location. When the in-laws came into town they always made a few hundred off our bills as well. At this point since we couldn't eat half the items between the quality (FYI I was told they DO NOT PUT RAISINS IN THE TAMALES) and those missing I'm going to have to dispute the charge through my credit card to get our money back. It's unfortunate as I do like to support...

I have been eating at Casita Molina for years and this was the first time I had a horrible experience. I wanted to treat myself to a dinner, and one of my main reasons for going to Casita Molina is because I love their RED salsa. I spent $30 on the beef patty tacos combo and an order of mini chimis with guac and sour cream. The rude cashier Marialusa, who took my order over the phone was extremely unprofessional, knowledgeable, and rude. No customer service skills whatsoever. First of all, I asked her how much it would be for the taco combo and she said HOLD ON let me ask. Next thing you know I hear a click, she hung up on me! When I called back, she answered, and I said call Im calling back because the call disconnected, and then she said are you gonna place the order or what?? I’m extremely upset annoyed, instead of enjoying my food, I’m sitting here on the phone complaining and making a review so that others are aware. Management should also be aware. This is also the first time ever that I have received a bag of chips that has five total chips in it. This is the first time that I received a teeny tiny cup of TOMATO salsa instead of the regular sized RES salsa. She did that on purpose. I asked her if I could have an extra salsa for my tacos and for my chimis and she was being rude about it, I feel that she purposely gave me five chips in the bag and this tiny cup of TOMATOS not RED salsa. I basically wasted $30 because of this unprofessional employee Marialusa. I placed an order just like this a couple weeks ago and it was perfect. The cashier was very nice and professional and knowledgeable. When I asked for one extra salsa, she said no problem, and she actually went and brought me a bag of chips With the little Styrofoam cup of RED salsa in it. If there was an issue with me, asking for an extra salsa, this time, the little rude girl could have said it’s extra, I would’ve happily paid more to make sure I got the red salsa for my $30 meal instead of getting this tiny cup of tomatoes for a whole taco combo meal and an order of Chimis and bag of 5 chips. Dinner is...

I called for take out on 7/7/23 the same plates we always get #6. It consists of a cheese enchilada, chili relleno, beans rice.I got the soup my husband the tostado. I asked for 2 sides of sauce (which is extra) for the relleno and no tomatoes on Tostado add onions, also a pint of beans. I gave the order to Yaredezett (name on receipt) the 1st person and someone came on the phone & I had to REPEAT the exact same order to the second person. They still DIDN'T get it right. Tomatoes on the tostado no sauce on the relleno and a small 1/2 bag of chips. The problem started with the 2 people taking the order! They didn't enter it right so the kitchen didn't know better. Mind you these plates are $18.20 each not counting the charges for sauce so let's say easily over $20. each. The bill was $45.82 & I gave a $5 tip and they still couldn't get it right! As far as the chips go I was told by the manager/granddaughter/of owner that they were complementary & they didn't have to give us any at all on take out. I pointed out to her that we pay the same price as if we were dinning in & they would give us as much chip & salsa that we wanted (not good). Chips & salsa ARE CHEAP. I didn't realize how badly my favorite restaurant had gotten till I read reviews. We've eaten at the one that use to be on Grand & the one on Campbell since 2009. Believe me we have spent ALOT of money especially at Campbell and had a very good rapport with staff. Apparently they don't appreciate you being a local & supporting local business the bottom line you're just $ to them. There are much nicer Mexican food restaurants in Tucson to try out. If you're a tourist I suggest you go elsewhere. They got the last dollar I'll ever give...
