walked in and the kid started taking my order I ordered a 12 pc family bundle half spicy half regular chicken with the 2 sides and biscuits and a spicy chicken sandwich on the side with a side of mac n cheese the whole time i was ordering idk if the kid was high or something but he didn’t read out any of the items to double check which okay fine if you got it cool but walked away mid paying and didn’t even hand me my receipt or anything. I got my order and the girl didn’t even ask us if we wanted any sauce or anything but i wasn’t tripping because i know they probs busy or something but then i get home and noticed the sides are missing and i called the store immediately and the lady who answered, Veronica said “okay ill write ur names down you can come in and get that” so i did that got what was missing and went back home to come back and eat only to find out none of the chicken that was supposed to be spicy was spicy even tho the receipt clearly said half and half spicy and regular so i called again this time a bit more pissed off cuz i had just gotten back from them messing up my ordering and telling me to come in and i explained i was the same person and the chicken on my order wasn’t spicy and there best solution was for me to come in for a 3RD TIME? i have work in 20 mins the trip there alone would make me late to work and this was supposed to be dinner for me and my family before i went into work and they wanted me to come in and bring the food in it’s not my fault they messed up the whole order but to make me come in for a 3rd time after i just got back from the correction of the first time they messed up is not okay they told me to not eat the food but that was supposed to be dinner for my family while i went to work im not gonna leave my kids hungry so i could get a refund these mfs are tripping big time and i shouldn’t have to come in a 3rd time to bring the food and get it re done and be late to work or come in at later day and leave my kids hungry just so the restaurant could refund me i get it maybe if i had time to get my family a different choices of food but i had already wasted my remaining time going back to the store a second time for them to give me the sides that were missing i can’t go in a 3rd time and just want a refund from the store cuz ain’t no way i have to go in 3 times because of YOUR MISTAKE im not gonna be late to work to fix this or leave my kids hungry that’s ridiculous they think i would do that and the fact they hung up on me is horrible service and the employee i talked to was rude worst service ever waste of 50 dollars and it’s not worth your money or time going...
Read moreArrived and the establishment was busy. Good sign. Everyone apparently wanted to try the new chicken sandwich, as was I. When placing the order I was told there would be almost a 20 minute wait if I wanted to try the sandwich.
I kindly asked the order person what would be quick as I was on my lunch with limited time and I went out of my way to visit. She suggested tenders and so that was my purchase, the spicy variety.
And then I sat. And I sat. And I sat. 10 minutes. Then 15 minutes. At 23 minutes a manager brings out the order and apologizes for the wait. I asked kindly if he really was sorry. The averted gaze told me all I needed to know. The man didn't give a flying fü©✓ about my wait.
In defense. The establishment was clean. The food was great when it actually came. But I will not return to this Popeye's ever again.
When I asked what was fast it was so I could get back to work on time. Of course, a 23 minute wait for fast food chicken was no bueno. I was left without enough time to even finish my meal. This location took my chill time and turned it into more stress.
I don't enjoy our current world full of false truths. I'm an adult, a big boy, been lied to before. Do not lie and take my money and then 23 minutes of my down time and then blow it off by trying to offer me a 50¢ apple pie.
I as a customer deserve a better and more truthful experience. I don't blame the workers. Clearly management. According to the receipt a Mr. Limbu.
They didn't even give me a proper receipt so that I could fill out the survey.
Management knew they would be flooded with complaints and make the location look bad.
Clearly it is a bad location and I for one will not spend another 23 minutes of my time there. Time is more precious than...
Read moreToday is July 20th, 2024. It is 12:21 p.m. My initial interactions during the drive-thru experience whereas expected. Flustered, somewhat rushed, I try to read the menu to my client with ASD, so he could order. The plastic on the drive-thru window is incredibly scratched, making it almost impossible to see. I pull forward to the second drive-thru menu, which is easier to read. I am met with a disgruntled voice, "What do you want?". Totally unprofessional. I describe exactly what my client would want to order: Six pieces of bone-in Ghost pepper wings, large Macaroni & cheese, with a small fry. No response. Silence for a minute straight. "Pull up" she says. I have no idea how much I owe, or if she understood what I ordered. As I pull up to the window, which is open, I see the drive-thru attendant having a conversation. Since the window was open, I could understand what she was saying to her coworkers. She was talking about her weekend, and how ridiculous her man was being. She continued to talk with her co-workers for 3 minutes straight until she acknowledged us. She said my client owed $15.10. my client pulled out the money, and handed it to me. When I turned around to hand the money to her she was gone, and our food was up on the drive-thru window. I could have drove away with the food free! Not only that, but the wings were sauced. I My client has ASD, and is very particular with his food. Because of this interaction, it caused a huge Behavior and I had to file an incident report because of it. This is the worst restaurant I've ever been to, and it's because of that lady in particular. It sucks too - this was his favorite...
