I went in today to pick up a large order. We spent over $70 getting coffee for my office and I was confronted by an employee named Meghan. She asked if I was the one that submitted a review. I assumed she was speaking about an email I sent to Starbucks asking about training the employees on how to print out mobile order receipts because of my last interaction with her where she was not trained on how to do this. I was really shocked when she berated me about this review stating "I was really taken aback by your review! You understand you are under no obligation to tip, right?" I was extremely confused why she was bringing up tipping because I had never mentioned that before. It felt like she was just waiting to confront me about this and I was confused because the email I sent to Starbucks was not in any way rude or even accusatory. I'm not sure if she has me confused for someone else but I was just in shock about the way she came at me. It's really inappropriate to confront a customer in the lobby. The last time I asked tha barista if there was anything else, as I did not order one of my coworkers did. She told me no and when I got to work my coworker told me there were items missing. When I called to get a refund and to explain my frustration, they insisted I come back to get the missing items. I was already as work so I could not do so. I was then passed to a manager, Tori? I think, who was VERY rude. She told me I would have to call back later because she "couldn't process that right now" then proceeded to hang up on me. This is not the first time I've witnessed this aweful display of customer service and general dismissal of professional conduct. I've seen managers in this store be rude to new employees which was disheartening , I've come in with big orders and treated like I've inconvenienced them in some way by bringing them "too much" business. Read moreI wish I could give this location a better review as I have been a loyal guest everyday to either this location or the one on 1st for over a decade. Everyone is usually super cool but, recently I have had 2 horrible interactions with the same employee. I am kinda scared to come back to deal with their constant aggressive manner. I am not an unpleasant customer, I tip well, and I always speak to everyone with respect. For some reason no matter how I act Kai is always super aggressive and unpleasant towards me. I have never had someone roll their eyes at me and just ignore me and my greeting. I just won't come here anymore after a whole decade of loving the people here this is just too much of a turn off. Get Kai outta there or keep them away from the public. They are going to drag your business down. Also shift supervisor didn't really seem to care to address their behavior at all.
