When anyone see a sale, the general reaction is, "what?", "where?", "How much off of what now?", "no way". So the hunt for a particular pair of pants began and sort of ended here at JCPenny. Walking through the Tucson Mall, we happen to see all of the sale & clearance signs. For the most part the store is clean with some areas looking like a stampede of shoppers made their way through and tossed anywhere other than back on the area they picked the item up originally. Some items are mislabeled or the signage is located somewhere else misleading. That is truly an easy fix. What is not an easy fix is ignoring a customer while you are on you phone and or chatting with friends and co-workers. I had left my wife to obtain a price for some jewelry from the employee who at 1st we thought was helping another customer. Once I returned from my own mini shopping adventure, my wife pointed out that the "customer" was actually a friend as they were laughing and showing 1 another things on their phone. I went to ask for assistance when my wife stated she already tried and the employee and said she will be with her in a minute. Sooooo, we left. We had driven to another JCPenny in town, however, they were closed (permanently or temporarily) we are not sure which (off Broadway) My own adventure was entertaining to me, as the item I purchased rung up higher than the posted price. Even after I went back and took the photos of the posted price, at 1st the manager did not want to honor. I believe bate and switch is still an Az deceptive trade practice title 44 of ARS 44-1522. I am a reasonable person, if I see that clearly someone just mis-racked an item, I don't even bother; however, if all of a product is together with a clear posted sign, then like anyone else, I expect to pay this price, not a higher price. JCPenny always has some very cool novelty clothing š It does feel like they are struggling to hold onto their retail chain. The product is still there, hopefully the customer service can get back to where it was at once...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDropped my engagement ring off over a month ago to get repaired. I knew it would be a while before I got it back bc they send it out, they donāt repair in store. They had it for over a month and did NOT repair it bc when whoever they send it to tried to reach out to the store, the store didnāt answer. Thatās what I got told. When I dropped the ring off I obv showed them what needed to be fixed so I donāt understand. Then when I went to pick up the ring they wouldnāt give it to me without my fiancĆ©ās ID bc it was under his name, which I would normally understand, but like you didnāt even fix it so just give it back. At the end of the day itās just a ring but itās the most special piece of jewelry I own and Iām trying to get it fixed before our wedding. I could have taken it anywhere else twice to get it fixed in the time that JCPenny had it just chillin not fixing it. Also when they called me to tell me it was ready, I got a voicemail that just said it was ready. At no point did anyone take initiative to say what I would have said had I been in there shoes, āHey we have your ring ready for pick up but weāre so sorry it couldnāt be fixed becauseā¦ā Not one person tried to make the situation right. Idk, just a ring, not that serious, but also like are they serious right nowā¦!? Not ever going to JCPenny again š¬ PS. Change your greeting! You canāt even be sure who youāre calling when you call the store bc some guy who sounds like he hates his life just starts rattling off āPress one forā¦ā, thereās no āThanks for calling...
