I came here July 30th with my husband and 2 daughters for my youngest birthday. Both my girls had been asking to come here for awhile, so we decided what a better time than my babies 6th birthday.
The girl behind the counter was straight faced, not friendly at all, and absolutely no welcoming upon coming in or even a smile. She continued to clean even when we were at the counter to order and when asked what flavors of boba they had she was reluctant at best to help. I asked again about the boba and she pretended not to hear me.
Worst customer service skills and shouldn't be working here if she can't even manage to be pleasant or smile or offer any help. She seemed annoyed and rushed even though we were the only customers for about 20 mins. She just continued to clean keeping her head down and almost acting as if we weren't even there. Mind you, I even told her it was my daughters birthday thinking maybe she'd be more welcoming she didn't even flinch just stared straight at me annoyed.
I wasn't understanding the menu fully and she could see this and didn't care one bit. Didn't answer my questions or even say a happy birthday just not used to this kind of service.
I ended up with 2 drinks that lacked serious flavor as well as being overpriced and both my girls ended up not drinking them. Such a bad experience for my daughters birthday.
Debated whether or not to review but was already doing another review and thought it needed to be mentioned. There are other young adults that would love to work here perhaps hire one of them instead. There are tons of other places to get decent boba in this town and much better atmospheres. By reading some of the reviews I'm not the only one who thinks the service is lacking.
It's really too bad because the place is absolutely adorable but unfortunately people like this working customer service have no people skills at all. She was aware she was being rude and she didn't care. Won't be coming back we have since found a boba spot that actually appreciates...
Read moreAnother tea shop addition to the Tucson area that screams pink. Based on a TikTok recommendation, we visited this very pink tea place. Right off the bat, the atmosphere felt a bit off. There wasnât any music, and the seating was quite limited. We were greeted and given menus. The menu had a great variety of teas, and we asked the barista a couple of questionsâshe seemed nice but a bit stressed, as she appeared to be the only person making drinks.
We overheard that there wasnât any boba available and that it would take some time to prepare, which was odd for a boba tea shop. We settled on the taro fresh milk tea with pudding and the coco mango tea. We were advised that the taro tea was a bit different from other taro teas at other shops, and we were given a sample before ordering, which was a nice touch. However, the prepared taro drink wasnât my favorite. The coco mango was excessively sweet, even after asking for 30% sugar. Drinks took 15 minutes to prepare, which was a bit much.
The atmosphere of the cafĂŠ wasnât there. There was no music, few tables, and it didnât feel like the best place to enjoy your drinksâit just felt off. The overwhelming pink plastered everywhere was too much and didnât add to the overall ambiance. Prices were more or less fair at about $6-7 per drink. Overall, I found my experience trying out this new boba tea place a bit...

They wouldnât honor a coupon that was on their own website. Said it was for âlast weekâ, then why is it available right now?
The two people working seemed stoned, bored and uninterested. I wanted the promotional cup with the toy in it and itâs a $3.50 up charge, no problem happy to pay it. Firstly forgot to charge me for it and subsequently forgot to give me the promo cup all in the space of 20 seconds.
No please, no thankyous just a very awkward experience. I used to frequent Miss Desserts that used to be in the building and thought maybe this spot was up to the same standards. Sadly, it is not.
Thereâs plenty of Boba spots in this city to choose from and honestly youâd do better almost anywhere else.
The actual tea was okay. Nothing special. Plenty of better...
