Wienerschnitzel — Restaurant in Tucson

I absolutely love this Wienershnitzel, and it may not speak for all the restaurants, but weirdly enough this is one of the best fast food restaurants I've ever been to. Simple, clean, and delicious. It's hard to expect much from a fast food restaurant, but this place exceeds it in every way.

I've worked in a fast food kitchen before (McDonald's) and it's really difficult, especially as the day progresses, around lunchtime, to keep it orderly, clean, and sparkling. Despite, or in light of, not being especially busy, this Wienerschnitzel always seems to have an absolutely pristine kitchen and restaurant. Take a look behind the counter yourself sometime. Good credit goes to the workers for not leaning and doing the cleaning when things slow down.

Secondly, the service is amazing for a category that is essentially the pinnacle of shitty service, fast food. Working the drive-thru, the attendant is always polite and well-mannered. (Yes sir, no m'am.) I even saw him run an ice cream cone out to the car behind us while we were waiting on our food at the window. Inside, it's just as excellent. We had the food brought to us at our table, something akin to what I might get from Chipotle or Rubios while paying three times as much. I can't believe I'm including "service" in a fast food restaurant, but this one deserves it.

Lastly, the food is fantastic. Not one complaint. If it could be said about any fast food, that it should "look like the commercial", this place definitely wins that tile. You will in no way be disappointed.

We ordered from this location on Grubhub and our order was wrong. I understand that mistakes happen because I work fast food and deal with Grubhub. However when I called the store to simply tell them that my order was wrong, not wanting anything replaced just informing them. A manager named Lilia answered and she rudely told me they didn't have a Grubhub order and as I was trying to calmly explain, she hung up on me. So I called back with no answer, I kept trying and after 3 times someone answered and listened to me. Tom the manager was patient, kind, understanding and apologetic and he knows how to show customer service to his customers. So my friend and I just went on veterans day to see if they had any deals. It was our first time and we went thru the drive thru. It was super awkward. When we asked if there were and veterans day deals they answered with "yea, what do you want to drink" i was super confused since they didn't say what the deal was or what it included. Then at the window they handed me my food and didn't say anything as an indication that I was good to drive off. No thank you, no have a good night, no closing of the window, no words at all.
