Hardee’s — Restaurant in Tullahoma

My first review was 5 stars and was placed some time last year: Of the big name burgers - McDs, B King, etc. I like Hardee's burgers the best. I think they take their quality control a little more seriously. I gave them a 5 star rating but in reality there is no 5 star hamburger - at least not in Tullahoma. But if everyone else is rated 4+ stars, Hardee's is 5.

An update 6/20/25: Today I ordered the same ‘Famous Star Combo’ I ordered a week ago. But this time it was not good. I had ordered through the app and picked it up 8 minutes later. The burger was not as I had customized it. It was obvious that the burger and Crispy fries had been sitting under the heat lamps for a long while. Both were stale and wilted. The bun had actually become hard to chew. There was enough sauce on it that the bun was almost soaked. I threw some of the fries away. So, Hardee’s, please don’t do this to me again. Last week I had to wait while everything was made fresh. That’s how it should be every time. My guess is that it’s a function of who’s in the kitchen. This evening’s crew needs to go back to Hardee’s school. But blaming it on the crew is too convenient. This is a management problem. Deliver quality every day. For this update I changed the food rating from 5 stars to 1. And the overall from 5 stars to 2

Let's see....after sitting behind a white SUV at the kiosk and watching him drive off when no one asked him for his order ( this is an assumption based on the fact I sat at the kiosk for nearly 5 minutes before I was asked for my order). The order was placed, see photo. Only two things deviated from the standard combos. One was that to hold the onion on the steakhouse burger and on the big hardee combo the fries be substituted with onion rings, both combos were upgraded to medium. After taking my money the cashier asked me to pull up and wait. I did, and after receiving the order I inspected the bag which held my "order of onion rings" that consisted of 3 (that's three) rings. I entered the store and asked the young person at the counter if an order of onion rings consisted of 3 (that's three) rings. The response was "I'll fix you more" and he seemed displeased that I had the audacity to ask such a question. I told him that it wouldn't be necessary if he would just tell me that 3 (that's three) onion rings constituted an order. He prepared the (what I assume to be the proper size order) onion rings which consisted of more than 3 (that's three) rings. And with no attempt at a apology I was bid a good day. Upon arriving at home and inspecting the balance of the order, of course the steakhouse burger did indeed have onion on it completely by coincidence it had 3 (that's three) rings on it.

Do they deserve the $15.00 an hour they are requesting? That my friend, I...

On Saturday August 28 2021 I ordered a BLT Ranch Hand-Breaded Chicken combo with no bacon... The counter person was not cheerful or welcoming... The food came quickly enough but when I got to my table with the paper sack there was no catsup or napkins... I walked back to the counter and asked for napkins from the same person who never said a word in reply as she ripped two sections off a brown papertowel roll.. crumpled them up in her hands and handed them to me... I was not about to put those paper towels to my mouth so I tore off pieces of the paper sack which looked cleaner...

The food... I am including photos of the chicken sandwich which was burned black... The lettus was clearly the nasty outer leaves that most would toss in the garbage when prepping... I removed it from the sandwich... The creamy dill ranch dressing was almost not existant...

The fries were barely warm and not even close to crisp...

A few bites into this mess and I put it where it belonged.. in the garbage...

Left Hardee's and when to KFC where the food was excellent...
