After passing Alfred's numerous times on the way to and from home, I decided to give it a try. I got the Mediterranean platter which had hummus, tabouli, gyro meat, rice, pita bread and tzatziki sauce. Everything was delicious, but I'll comment on two things that I thought were exceptional. I personally think I make the best tabouli, so I use that as a comparison. Alfred makes a tabouli that actually has a decent amount of parsley instead of being all cracked wheat with a few tiny sprigs of parsley. It also doesn't rely too much on vinegar. In short, the tabouli is probably the best I've ever had in a restaurant. The pita bread was also a pure delight. Firm, yet quite warm and tender. Excellent!

I also had the place to myself because I arrived long ahead of the dinner crowd, so I got to chat with Alfred for a while. He's delightful and personable. This is restaurant that I expect will become a habit.

Addendum: This restaurant is now a habit. I have been here many times now and I am always pleased. I have told others. I have a good friend who offers to get together with me simply by asking "Alfred's?"

The dining room has expanded and it remains quiet and...

I'm always apprehensive when trying a new place, especially if it's not a "known" place or a chain. However, I popped in for lunch one day at my son's request. The most important part of a restaurant is its food, and the food here is outstanding! The hummus was a little runny, but it was good and flavorful, as was the chicken I had in my Mediterranean plate. I will definitely be back, just for the food alone. The owner (I believe he was the owner) was very nice and polite, and got our food out to us in record time. My only real complaint is that I prefer iced tea, but there was only one iced tea dispenser in sight, and no sugar or sweetener packets, which means it was either sweet tea or there was no sweetener available for unsweet tea. The restaurant itself was clean, but it is a small hole-in-the-wall restaurant with standard tables and chairs, and very sparse decorations. That's really not important to me, but some people may be looking for ambiance. Overall, I give it four stars, and like I said, will definitely be back again...

I have went to this restaurant for a couple of years. The last three times Alfred has been really rude. On one occasion he told me he was doing a catering event and could not serve me. I had driven one and half hours to his restaurant. Two weeks ago I went there he was upset about bills and said F___the USA. I was like you can go back to where you came from. I'am a veteran. I did not take to kind to those words. Today I was going to give him one more chance. I took my wife and Alfred told us we would have to wait half hour because of vendor being there. The vendor was seating there in the restaurant. The vendor politely ask why are we waiting he is a vendor and we are rhe customers. We left his estblishment and will not be back. Alfred is rude and very disrespectful. If you don't like America please leave. We are the one's supporting your business. If I could he would get...

Fresh Mediterranean food cooked and served with pride by the owner. Alfred’s Mediterranean Grill is a one man show. The owner does it all. So it you are short on time, be very patient or, the best thing to do is call your order in about ten to fifteen minutes prior to your arrival. The chicken pita was very good. The combination platter came with tabouli, hummus, cucumber yogurt, pita, freshly grilled chicken, beef kabob and rice. It was a large meal. The beef kabob was well seasoned and had an excellent flavor. Overall a very good meal! The restaurant is small. There is nothing special about the atmosphere, but it is a clean and quiet place to have a very good Mediterranean meal. You can see the owner’s pride in the way the restaurant is maintained and the attention he gives his customers.

I got a shawarma plate and it was good. The star of the show was definitely the tabouli salad. It's more than just a salad. You can taste the history and love in it. I will definitely return for a few grocery items, ice cream, and I want to try other menu items. There's a cute little event space in the side room and the owner will cook and bring your dish out to you. It was also fun to see his interactions with his regulars, it made the environment feel cozy and familiar.

Best kabob I’ve ever had. The owner takes pride in making his food and making sure that his customers get served the best food. There will be some times where he’s too busy with catering and has to turn you away. Please don’t be upset. Instead, understand because of the reasons above. He doesn’t have kabob everyday. So, to save you your time and effort, it’s best to call him before coming. Highly recommend this place.
