DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS. I was there last week. The serving staff didn't bother taking care of the customers. My server didn't bother asking me what I wanted for drink, she just showed up with pepsi. I was like ok. Then I placed order of shrimps cajun flavored medium spices with an order of potatoes, my usual for years. Well, she took ny order. After a long wait, my food came. Meanwhile, she did not refill my drink. I was looking at her the whole time and she saw me looking at her but she continued to sit relaxing totally disregarding me. Finally, the food came. The order was missing potatoes. I looked at her and she disregarded me as usual. I waived at her, she continued to disregard me. Eventually, she came. I told her I am missing potatoes. She went inside to tell them about potatoes. Again, after a long wait the potatoes came. When I tried to eat the potatoes, I noticed that they were hot from the outside and cold-hard from inside. This time I had had it. I decided to walk out and not pay because I did not eat their undercooked food. Plus, I was getting late for the movie at the movie theatre anyway. I decided to give them another chance. I went their yesterday. When I sat down and looked at the order, next thing I know, the entire family came out of the kitchen and began to stare at me. They basically ganged up on me. The father and the mother came out of the kitchen to stare at me. That's when I figured out the server was their daughter, that's why she was acting with such carelessness. One of the servers rudely told me that we will have to charge you in advance because last time you didn't pay. I told him that I last time I didn't pay because I didn't eat because you messed up my order. I should've left but I didn't. I paid in advance. On the receipt I noticed that they snuck in a 10% charge of gratituty. I asked the server what is it. He said it is tip. When I looked further down on the receipt, there was another space for tip. Turned out they are getting ADDITIONAL tip from us customers. They want to get two tips from the customer. I gave them nothing for the tip and left to never comeback again. I was coming to this restaurant for years. Several times they messed up my order, I never got mad. They even overcharged me by putting items in my order which I didn't order. I still didn't say anything. At the end, they ganged up on me , made me feel like a theif, overcharged me, wanted to pay for the messed up food which I didn't eat etc. They have no knowledge or care to run a business. It is not free money. For the money they are getting paid they have to provide the right food and service. They think they are doing you a favor by giving you service whenever they feel like. From the moment we walked in and were seated it didn't take long to notice the underwhelm of the staff and how filthy everything was. Had to wipe the wetness from the booth seat before I sat, the floor was sticky under our feet, visible trash & dirt on the floors around, the partitions between booths and the bathrooms were nasty & sticky too. A mostly young staff with no sense of professionalism or work ethic, that very minimally interacted with us or anyone. Spent most of their time at a table together on their phones... ?? Not sure when that became acceptable. We should have gone with our guts and just left after sipping our water (which had a strange taste ) but decided to stick it out and give it a chance. Food was overpriced and just "ok" but not great by any measure. We were honestly just sitting there a little in shock at just how bad the whole experience was. After sitting there a long time obviously done eating one worker asked if we needed anything. I said yes, a to go bag (I didn't really want to take it home but I hate wasting food and it was expensive so...) He walked away and never came back. I suppose our waitress was too cozy at her table on her phone to check on us at all so we made it almost a game to see how long it would take to get our to go bag and check (from anyone ) to pay and get out of there. There were very few customers dining at the time...not busy at all mind you. It took about 20 minutes before another worker walked by that my husband flagged down. He disappeared into the kitchen a while before finally going to our waitress at her table, who slowly and casually came with our ticket and a bag. We normally start at 20% tip and go up from there. If we get not great service we go down to 15% or 10% if REALLY bad. We decided on a goose egg this time... 0 tip...2nd one in 25 years. The whole experience was comical. Needless to say will NOT be returning and was very surprised by the good ratings on Google for food taste and customer service...we had an "experience" but good food and customer service...
