I went in this morning with my boyfriend to grab a drink before school and ended up leaving after 20 minutes with no drink. I work in the service industry, and the lady who took our order was unprofessional, rude, and abrasive. I paid with ones and come change and was told by the lady who took my order that I was short $1 (I was not), but they were a little busy so rather than argue I gave her the extra dollar. We also tipped $7 for the trouble of paying with ones and change. We watched people come in after us and get their drinks within minutes. We had a two drink order, it should not have taken as long as it did. We ended up having to leave with no drinks, they hadn’t even started making them after over 20 minutes. We got a refund and my boyfriend told the lady who took our order that he was taking back his tip and she aggressively accused him of stealing out of their tip jar. We had told her we were tipping them for the trouble when we ordered and she was aware that we had put the money in the tip jar. Read moreWhat is wrong with this Starby’s? I ordered at 8:43 and the app said it would be ready about 8:51. I walked in at 8:50. By 8:51 my breakfast sammy was set on the mobile order area. Things are looking good!

At 9:20 an employee asked me what I was waiting on. I appreciated him asking. I told him a grande cinnamon nitro. He said okay and then I continued to wait. I’m normally not a patient person and do not want to be a Karen, so I continued waiting patiently while watching the Tour de France on my phone.
Nothing else was said to me. At 9:37 I approached the counter (without a Karen face) and asked for an update on my order. The employee asked if I wanted a refund. I told her i did not but at this point I’d like the breakfast sammy to be hot as it has cooled significantly. She seemed confused by my request so I showed her my order on my phone and told her I had been holding my sammy since about 8:50.
She offered to re-heat it, which I accepted. My drink was ready at 9:43. I don’t want to complain as I have sympathy for restaurant and fast-food service workers. But this...

On my way to work I would pass 2 different Starbucks one even with a drive-thru just to visit the one in front of Kohls because of the staff more than anything else. Recently I stopped in there and was highly disappointed with the service. There were 3 people working (that I saw) and everyone of them had an extremely irritated look on their faces which isn't what turned me off I understand that completely it was their attitudes when I said hello or how's it going or have a great day thank you! I got nothing back. The way this place used to be compared to that treatment and "service " is a far cry from how I used to leave so happy I stopped in there and ready to have a great day just because the staff and management was top notch! I hate to leave this review knowing its not great but please bring back...
