Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Tulsa

I tried Jersey Mikes today for the first time, after driving past in curiosity for years. I should have caved years ago, frankly. I am a sucker for a good Italian Sub. I fell in love at Subway years ago, and realized that the first I tried, was definitely NOT the best out there. I have tried many sub shops. I highly recommend Jersey Mikes! Their combination of meats is awesome. The fact that they slice it right there in front of you, is pretty cool. Something I have not witnessed before, myself at least. The size of the regular was plenty for one serving, and I am a big man…320 #’s if I am lying and flattering myself 😉

The customer service was on point. The guy who took my order was super nice, and great at the small talk game. I thought maybe slicing the meat right there would hinder my experience, but the guy nimbly maneuvered my introvert behaviors well! The others that helped down the line too were super friendly, helpful (I had no idea what “Mikes way” was), and didn’t push anything beyond a general upsell.

The location was clean, appealing, and the lobby size was deceptively large! I would not have minded eating in, which is something I cannot say about a lot of the competition. Overall impression, I definitely recommend if you have not tried it, or if you like a nice an varied Italian. I wont say it’s the BEST sub I have had, but it was great! I will...

Food was amazing, however my experience with staff was pretty bad. Let me start off by saying, I never complain or report small things but this incident was pretty bad. I ordered a number 42 with no cheese, and when I got home I realized there was cheese (no big deal). I went back to the store (happened to be close to closing approx 5 min before, the fastest I could get there) and told them what happened. I offered to leave my name and number and have the manager refund me the sandwich in the morning (they didnt have to remake it) One staff member told me that I did order cheese and insuinated I was lying on multiple occasions. I just got off a 12 something hour shift in the ER and honestly I didnt want to argue. I told them I never order cheese on anything because im allergic, get bloody ulcers in my mouth, and I dont have a gallbladder. I just had surgery to remove my gallbladder, and cannot digest cheese. I NEVER order cheese. They did not believe me so I had to pull up my shirt and show them my surgical scars. Luckily someone stepped in and just remade my sandwich. I go here often and always order the same thing. I will not be coming back, I dont want to get sick. This whole situation could have been dealt differently. If anyone is considering going here please check your orders if you have an allergy or condition that requires dietary changes...

Really wish I can give it more but I can not this time.. wife and i love Jersey Mikes but on this first time visit to this location was dreadful.. Sunday it was around 4ish, we walk in and wait our trun when we make up our minds we were told that they only had wheat bread left I looked at my wife not what I would like but that's find, then they run out of bread all together and I really can not order what I would like... I kno w these are first would issues but this is a sandwich shop BREAD is life..... it was kinda annoying.. then then I fully pay full price for product I really didnt want . And when i didnt press the button on the machine to tip i was given a look ...sorry tjis may be my last visit to this location next time my wife has a carving we may have to drive...
