When you go, request Thomas as your server. He is FANTASTIC! I’m five months pregnant and haven’t been able to get out much or really want to eat and finally had a craving for their Campfire sauce and fries, and their famous Chocolate Milkshake:) The day I decided to go I found out that the bartender who makes the milkshakes wasn’t there and the machine was locked up. Thomas went out of his way to request the keys to open it up just to make ONE milkshake for a pregnant lady’s craving:) When I tried to suggest it was okay and I could get something else, he wouldn’t have it and was determined not to have an unsatisfied customer. I’ve never had any server go above and beyond with a kind manner not making it an issue to make sure I was happy with my experience there. He made sure my table had EVERYTHING it needed. Our cups never ran dry, and he made everyone there feel important. The best manners, respectful humor, and extremely attentive even when he had more than one table in his section he was serving. BEST Red Robin to go to. I will DEFINITELY be coming to this one anytime I get a Red Robin Craving and will be specifically asking for Thomas. Absolutely horrendous customer service. So I work doordash from time to time and this is one restaurant I would steer everyone clear of. First off, I arrived early to the front and not one staff member came up to greet me or to ask if I needed something which is not a big deal, but 5 min went by so I asked a staff member if they could check on the order I was waiting for, when he came back he told me a few minutes, when I asked "what's a few minutes mean? He blatantly replied "3 minutes more, but you can cancel your order if you don't want to wait." Very rude but okay. After about 20 more min I asked if there was a problem and if I could speak to the manager because I lose money waiting too long and the customer that ordered also gets frustrated. He told me no the manager was too busy. (Mind you it was one burger I was waiting on) I ended up watching them bring out about 5+ burgers, and yet still I was waiting for my order. When I seemingly frustrated asked if they will bring the order out he completely ignored it and then went to the back and didn't come back anymore. Literally hid behind the wall separating the kitchen, just looking back at me through the slots and talking to his coworkers. Not doing much of anything but walking around. I mean I get that you're short staffed, but if this is how you act towards potential patrons and people providing services for your company it's a shame. went in tonight, waited 25 min to be seated. plenty of open booths and tables. understandable if they are understaffed. took 10 min to get drink orders in, asked for a peach shake. they did oblige and it was pretty good. when initially asked if it was good. i said it was alright, expecting the flavor from back home, but it was good. when she took our food order I said I wanted a burger. Mad Love burger. she got everything else correct. but somehow my order was just fries. so I waited thinking with my party that it just was taking a while. Someone other than the waitress brought fry refills. she came back after 25 min and asked how the meal was, and I was like where is my burger? she said I thought you just ordered fries. it was a consensus in the party my order was clear. I wanted the Mad Love burger. when she said she realized, she offered me to expedite the order. I was good at this point. it seemed like she was insulted that I didn't initially highly compliment her shake. and I didn't want to risk getting my food spit in so I declined. mind you I was paying for the whole meal. no offered discount. just a big let down of a meal. fries were alright. all I had. will I go back? of this first experience? I will not return. although price is fair. $30 for a burger and fries, and order of fries, a shake, and a slice of cake. could have been worse. still I fear the consequences of going back at this point.. plenty of other...
