First time here, made it for Valentines dinner. Overall the food was top notch. Service was lacking, maybe a little short staffed for a busy night. I ordered the Ruth’s classic which comes with a salad, entrée, side dish, and personalized dessert. The 11 ounce fillet and shrimp was AMAZING! It was thick and still perfectly cooked, one of the best steaks I have ever had. They serve the steaks on VERY hot plates, and I loved how it kept the steak hot for most of the main meal. On the classic, I upgraded the side dish to a “share size” side for an extra $5, which I thought was a great deal. The asparagus was very good. My wife ordered a petite fillet, which was a smaller version of the same steak and equally delicious. We had to try the lobster mac & cheese, and we would agree it has been appropriately rated very well at this restaurant. As far as service, it was poor for this level of dining. We told the waitress it was our first time, but she didn’t go over the menu like we heard others doing for tables around us. We got water promptly, but it had a dirty taste. I ordered a drink and after 10 minutes had to remind the waitress that I still had not received it. Then had a difficult time getting drink refills. She was going to bring more bread, but ended up not getting that until after our food was there. The classic also comes with a personal size dessert, when I asked about it she tried telling me I didn’t order that, however the food order was all correct to that point. She fixed the ticket, and we took the dessert to go. $192 for 2 people. Lastly I would complain that this restaurant is at the back of the casino, without direct access. It was impossible to determine where the ideal parking was, as there was not signage to direct on this, only signs indicating it was inside the casino. We parked, then had a long walk through the casino to the restaurant at the back.

We ordered the tomahawk steak and it wasn’t just enough for 2 but 2 more people to the next table. They explain the cuts of meat and the 500 degrees blah blah blah I couldn’t remember what they all said cause the smell of the steak was too good. Now everything is a la carte so be prepared to ask for a raise at work before you go. Mashed potatoes were around $20 by themselves but to their credit they are meant to be shared. The bread and butter they serve to keep you occupied and full before your actual meal is really really good, I would advise to try and stick to one load haha. Tomahawk steak and 2 sides ran around $220. There was another time where we ordered the calamari and shrimp as appetizers. Those were awesome, I’m guessing lightly fried in corn starch and topped with sweet thai chili sauce. Definitely every bit of 4 stars. I’d give 4 1/2 if there was an option. Update* Got a to go order earlier this week…very disappointed. Have been to this Ruth’s Chris maybe a dozen times and most were 4 star maybe a few 5 star experiences. This one was just plain awful. Close to 50 minutes for the entire order to be ready (tomahawk steak + lobster Mac n cheese). The lobster Mac was inedible. The lobster was very cold and the sauce was bitter somehow. Have it had several times before and this was not the same. The worst part of the transaction were really with the front hostess staff. Needs to be trained to be more consistent with EVERY customer no matter the AGE RACE GENDER or attire they might be wearing for a takeout. Will chalk this experience up as an anomaly since every other visit has been good-great.

I have been to other Ruth Chris' around the country and thought they were average to good. This one here stands out to me for service, food quality and availability of a nice bourbon selection. We got there about 20 minutes early and had to wait for the rest of our party to show up. We went to the bar and were greeted immediately and asked if we wanted to eat. We said we just wanted drinks and were waiting for our party to show up. Bartender was great and went to get our drinks. Another Bartender showed up and asked again to see if we were going to eat.(he did not see the female Bartender help us) When we got to our table, I think our server was Keith, he and the other server were great. Made sure everyone got their drinks quickly and the female server got everyone's order (sorry forgot her name). I ordered a ribeye and I opted to not get any topping on it, this was a great decision on my part. I had the truffle topping last time and I will.never get it again. The steak is great by itself, cooked perfectly and extremely flavorful. Lobster Mac, potatoes and asparagus were our sides and had the seafood tower. Everything was great. My bourbon selections for the night were Eagle Rare, EH Taylor and Blantons. We had shots of Clase Azul for the guys and Lemon Drops for the ladies for dessert. Great place, give it a shot and I do not recommend covering your steak with any topping whatsoever.

This was a very interesting in-person experience for a Saturday night, and after reflecting on the entire night (and a second order for delivery to my home this evening), the Tulsa location is solidly four stars.

In-person, I was a solo guest - at first, I was told that there was no seating available until 8:15 PM, and the second hostess jumped in and informed me that because I was a party of (1), I could sit at an empty high top at the bar and order from the entire menu. I had initially planned on a to-go order, but knowing I could indulge at the high top decided to stay. A fifteen-minute wait passed before I was introduced to my waiter, and after I was served my drink from the bar, I sat for an hour waiting for the main meal and went through (5) goblets of water. At the 70-minute mark, I hailed a server down and asked for my order to be boxed to go, and it was another 25 minutes before my bill was settled and I was able to leave. Dropping $160.00 (including a 10% takeout tip) on a cold boxed meal for one... was a lot. However: the bread pudding redeemed the situation. Once at home, I had a good laugh about how the entire night was deemed acceptable because of the bread pudding, and tonight I ordered two servings of the dessert for delivery via GrubHub to make sure the dessert was as good as I remembered just 96 hours ago. I've had much better steaks and food, but I am admittedly accustomed to fine dining experiences. Personally, I wouldn't dine at this location in person again unless I was able to experience the main dining room on a weeknight when the (excellent) staff isn't stressed or worried about kitchen delays during a weekend rush. I will, however, definitely treat myself to a takeout bread pudding on occasion in the future.

For Tulsa? It's a nice chain, but you can do much better with local upscale options. If you're not accustomed to fine-ish dining experiences, Ruth's Chris may not be the place for you: make sure to check the dress code, although at the Tulsa location, from what I could observe they are accustomed to serving a much more casual guest, because there were plenty of ball caps worn by guests. Hearty appetite? Be prepared to spend at least $150.00 per person for an appetizer, entree and side, salad, dessert, and one...

The more I think about how my evening was handled, the worse I feel. It was my birthday and staying at the hotel for a couple of days. Made reservations two weeks in advance, had to wait to be seated as people not dressed for what I was told was a “fine dining establishment” were seated without reservations, in front of us, Finally taken to our table … great view, nice service, but extremely spotty. It felt like we were the “ after thought” the entire time. At the end of the meal all of our food that was left was quickly boxed up and presented to us with a “thank you for dining with us “. We looked at each other and left aft waiting for several minutes for our server to present us with a bill. I figured sinc we were staying at the hotel that they put it on our room since no one came back so we left.after changing clothes and going back to the casino floor to play for a bit I noticed that I was getting “eyeballed” by a woman and a security officer. Nothing was being directly said to me but whispers between the two while looking at me. I finally went up to them directly and asked if there was a problem. Mind you … with my name being Karen already, it doesn’t help for me to be confrontational at all, but THIS I did not understand. The security officer was taken off guard and said that we had walked out on the tan and they needed to finalize it. I told them my room number and then he asked if I was going to leave my server a tip. I stated I would give her 20%. A bit concerned that I would not be charged correctly we went to the restaurant immediately asking what what was the issue and wanting to see a manager. We’re told that we were being aggressive and to leave. It was the most humiliating, uncomfortable and flat out horrible experience I have had with n a fine dining establishment ever. It was embarrassing and definitely humiliating especially for not only my first and only experience but as my birthday dinner, it...

We having been going to Ruth's for over 7 years, mostly to celebrate a special occasion or have a date night. They have always had 5 star service and food in the past. Last night was an exception. The hostess was friendly, the waiter seemed good to start and we ordered drinks, appetizer and meal as normal. We had the appetizer and then waited a long time, wondering why our salads were talking so long. After about 30 minutes, a young lady showed up with our steaks, much to our surprise. We told her we had not had our salads, she seemed a bit confused then said she would go talk to our waiter, Ira. About 10 minutes later, Ira, showed up with a couple of salads and said the kitchen had lost some tickets and that was the reason for the steaks coming out before the salads. I noted that he did not offer any apology. After we finished our salads, our meal finally arrived. It was obvious that they simply reheated our filets as both were severely overcooked. We ordered medium rare and got one medium well and the other was completely well done. One server asked how our food was and we told her the steaks were overcooked and the creamed spinach was very watery in consistency. She simply said, "oh" and walked away. Finally, the sides they brought out were incorrect, but the bill was correct.

The bottom line is that Ruth's is an upscale restaurant with upscale prices and should be consistent in with 5 star service. Last night was very disappointing as their service was subpar at best. Our waiter/server was indifferent, no one apologized or made any attempt to correct the issue and the manager, who was in the dining room disappeared. Ruth's has an outstanding steak (never had an overcooked filet that was as tender the one I ate last night).

But there are a number of high end steak houses in Tulsa with much better service than we experienced last night and I seriously doubt we will be returning to...
