Genuine Mexican food made from scratch!
This is authentic Mexican food with flavor. Three birria beef filled tacos and a side of beans for me. My wife had the sopes. The tacos were generously filled with tender well-seasoned beef, sprinkled with onion bits and a few cilantro leaves, folded in fresh house made corn tortillas. The ubiquitous Mexican restaurant green and red plastic bottles of salsa were delivered with the plates of food. Tasty salsas essential for bringing the heat and spice up to my standards. These were delicious. With the beans it was a filling plate of food. My wife had the sopes with chopped steak. A thick crispy corn tortilla, a layer of beans, piled with chopped steak, lettuce, tomato, avocado, and all decorated with queso fresco and sour cream. Two were a meal.
Table service, food served on real plates not foam to go containers, no chips and salsa. Excellent friendly service from the young lady working today. The little restaurant is clean and comfortable.
Really good fresh “Genuine Authentic Mexican Food.”

Read moreI used to love this place. I been a client since they open this little restaurant, I don't have to drive all the way to 21st and 129th to taste good food. I’ve never had a problem, until today. My husband and I decided to eat in the restaurant today, they brought the food, he had enchiladas verdes and I had a menudo with grano bowl. I was about half done, enjoying my delicious menudo, when I found a hair around one of the granos they have put on my order… I called the girl that was attending our table, showed her the hair, she looked at the hair, and then looked at my hair like saying “this is yours”, I was like, you know what, lets go, blame me! I looked at everybody inside the kitchen, nobody was wearing a hairnet, as it’s required for a food handler. I should’ve seen that before we ordered the food… They charged me half of the menudo plus the enchiladas, I wanted to pay full price but, my husband started...
Read moreGreat little new-ish cafe. Little bit of an old school diner feel inside. Small and cozy. Excellent service. My mom and sister think the coffee is great. The ice tea was nice, and never lacked for a refill. Wide variety of menu items to choose from. Breakfast all day, which is awesome! I had the spinach and mushrooms omelet, do yourself a favor and get the home fries, freaking great. Would have liked shredded cheese to top it, but not that big a complaint. My sister got the Tinga breakfast burrito, sans the burrito part, gluten issues, and wow! That chicken was amazing! Mom got the pork chop breakfast and it looked great and smelled awesome. My omelet was delicious btw. The biscuits are tasty and dense. Overall, if you're in this part of town and looking for a nice little breakfast cafe, give...
