First impressions are everything… We came here excited to try a wine tasting place we haven’t been to before. We were in a bigger vehicle and had trouble parking because someone in one of the lots double parked. We had to park our vehicle behind (not in) the disabled parking so one of us could get out to ask the staff if they could get the double parked vehicle to move. I didn’t even make it out of the car before we were met with a rude staff member who said we weren’t allowed to park there… yeah we knew that… told them of the situation and they said they would go find the owner of the vehicle. We waited over 5 mins, but felt increasingly uncomfortable with the interaction and decided that we no longer wanted to spend time here. No one ended up coming out anyways to help us with the parking situation. Really left us feeling like they wanted to shoo us away rather...

The Nocturnal Hound is hands-down my favorite wine bar in town. From the moment you step inside, the space feels effortlessly warm, cozy, and welcoming. It's both intimate and refreshingly unpretentious. Stephanie, the owner, is nothing short of amazing: incredibly knowledgeable, approachable, and passionate about wine. Thanks to her, I’ve discovered some phenomenal Washington wines I never would have tried otherwise.

This is a great place for wine, relaxing, small plate food and good friends!! I love the new decor, flooring, lighting and all the remodeling that has taken place. A group of us come together for wine every 6 weeks or so and this is the perfect spot. The staff were very attentive to our needs and when a glass was almost empty they were there to ask if we need anything. The selection of wines is nice and love their wine flights.
