On Friday, May 16th, my sister and I were in town for my nephew’s graduation. After a long day of travel, we decided to grab a quick bite and ended up at your restaurant. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing from the start.
First, we noticed that the parking lot was nearly empty compared to the other nearby restaurants—a sign we now wish we had heeded. As we approached the entrance, the front door was covered in fingerprints, which immediately raised concerns about cleanliness.
We chose to sit at the bar, but upon sitting down, we noticed dirty dishes piled on the cooler directly behind the bar, clearly visible to guests. There were also used glasses sitting out on the bar area. When the bartender finally approached us and asked for our drink orders, I requested a Tito’s and soda but was instead given a Long Island Iced Tea (the Longhorn version).
When the drinks arrived, the bartender asked if we were ready to order. I kindly asked if he could clear the dirty dishes before we ordered, as we didn’t want to eat while staring at a mess. This basic level of service didn't seem to register with either of the bartenders.
We placed our order, but the food continued the trend of poor service. My sister’s lobster and steak combo arrived cold, and my steak—ordered medium—was served closer to rare. My sister requested her plate be reheated and asked that the person handling it use gloves, as the food runner who originally delivered it had their fingers on the plate.
At no point during our visit did a manager check on us, despite multiple issues. No apology was offered, and no attempt was made to recover the poor experience. Unfortunately, this lack of leadership and attention to detail seems to reflect the overall culture of the restaurant.
To top it off, we overheard a server loudly expressing pride in not delivering bread unless specifically asked—hardly the hospitality we expected.
Given the lackluster service, cold food, and poor overall cleanliness, it's no surprise this location was less busy than others. Sadly, the experience didn’t justify the...
Read moreI guess if you like their food choices it's not so bad, but my wife wanted catfish which of course they don't serve. That was my fault I should have checked it before I went. we wanted to go to Texas Roadhouse however they weren't open yet as it was before 4 o'clock. I ordered a 12 oz ribeye and what they brought me looked like something between an 8 oz and 10 oz ribeye. I had trouble finding any keto side items to go with my steak as a matter of fact there weren't any keto side items. I asked for a salad which was not part of the side items so course I had to pay extra for that and it was around $7. The steak was between 23 and $25 I can't remember the exact amount but it was way too much. As I said, I could not find any keto side items and and ended up ordering a baked potato, which I couldn't eat, but at least my wife could take it home and eat it later the waitress was unfriendly and we felt rushed to make up our minds and order. She kept leaving and coming back, I don't know why, the place didn't seem that busy as it was too late for lunch and too early for dinner. I gues she was just impatient. The the tip we left definitely reflected the quality of the waitress's service, my wife and I left a dollar each tip, which I thought was more than the service was worth. The check was over $53 for 2 people. Basically the service was terrible and the food was way overpriced for what you get. I wish I had taken pictures to show you the steak they said was 12 oz, it wasn't much bigger that a hamburger patty and maybe three-quarters of an inch thick. Any restaurant is crazy not to have keto options on their menu or at least let you get a salad as a side item. Which by the way the salad comes with some kind of oil dressing on it so if you want something else you better ask in advance. I ate at the longhorn in Florence Alabama a few months back and it was not like this one! At least there you left feeling like you had had a...
Read moreI am not typically one to give 1 star reviews for a dinning experience. I usually try to gave credit for at least one thing the resturant did well and be sure to call it out in my reviews. You can reference all of my past reviews and see that I am very fair when evaluating the places I review. I will do the best I can to explain my family's experience. The hostess took down our phone number wrong and tried to text the wrong number when the table was ready. We were seated in the waiting area, but even with the wrong number they should have called our name when our turn to be seated had arrived. Instead the Hostess was rude to my wife when she explained to her that they had taken the number down incorrectly and had taken our name off the list. Meanwhile 4 other families had been seated. Fortunately the other Hostess tried to rectify that and seated us. That was only a 30 minute wait to be seated. Once finally seated we noticed the floor was very dirty and had not been swept that day. The waitress took 15 mins to get to our table for drink orders. She returned with our water with dirty water glasses. We did order the shrimp appetizer which came out greasy and cold. It took 1hr and 15 mins for our main course to come out and my wife had to substitute her side because they were out of baked potatoes. For the most part the steaks were cooked well and were warm... however, my fries were loaded with grease and cold like our shrimp. The waitress never came back to check on us and I had to ask for the check, otherwise I am afraid we would have been there for 2.5 hrs. The tip I left reflected my frustration. I rarely ever discourage someone from visiting an establishment, but I cannot in good conscience recommend this resturant to anyone. I hope it will get better in the future, but for now, I will not be returning. Worst Longhorn Experience EVER. I challenge the Longhorn management to reach out to me to...
