I have to say I was very disappointed in this Hilton hotel. I used the mobile app to check in and to open my door, which I really enjoyed. However, the room wasn't up to Hilton standards. The phone was very dirty, almost like it had old makeup smeared on it. The phone also didn't work as I tried calling the Front Desk about my second issue I found with the room.
I inspected the king size bed and found the duvet was dirty. There was a very large stain, that looked to be coffee, on one corner of the bed. I pulled the duvet and top sheet back and found lot's of hair scattered around the fitted sheet. Some were short straight hairs while others were curly. Definitely didn't belong to me because I keep my head shaved! The sheets didn't appear to have been changed from the previous guest.
Since the room phone wasn't working, I went down to the Front Desk and informed the gentleman working there that I think the sheets never got changed. He asked what room am I in, and after telling him, he seemed a little baffled by that. He apologized and moved me to another room on a different floor. Once in the new room, I did an inspection of it and found no issues. It was clean and had fresh sheets!
I stayed there for 3 nights and I used the elevators and pool regularly. I noticed not much attention was given to the area around the elevators in the lobby. The second night someone dropped napkins on the floor in front of the elevator and it stayed there for nearly 2 days. The whole time I never saw anyone clean up. I did see one housekeeper on my floor, but she was cleaning a room.
The indoor pool stayed dirty 2 of the 3 days I was there. There were dirty pool towels that never got changed out, still lying where other guests threw them and no clean ones on the shelves. The emergency tools (flotation ring, grab loop/pole) were not where they were supposed to, rather the ring was on the floor under a chair, and the rescue loop was on the floor behind a table and 4 chairs. They should have been on the wall with easy access in case of an emergency. The water and the room itself wasn't heated. The water was cold along with the indoor air. Couldn't stay in there very long.
My final piece of feedback is be careful with buying items from the little grab and go they have next to the Front Desk. No prices were posted for the items. I didn't think they would be too expensive, but I was wrong. A bag of Doritos was $7.00 and $2.50 for a small bag of Skittles!

Read moreMy husband and I have been faithful customers for over 10 years. This last visit was such a bad experience that all the good stays have been forgotten. It was a disaster from making reservations to checkout. When I called for reservations I tried to give my credit card information, but they would not take it, and I was advised that I had two Honors accounts (which I did not set up) and needed to combine them. I was on the phone 57 minutes before this was accomplished. I was told by Honors that I was being charged too much for the room and Honors cancelled reservations and made new reservations. We were charged $154.70. When we arrived I checked the reservations and the room was nothing like what I had. Due to age and physical conditions, we needed an accessible room with a sofa. Hampton told us they gave us the last accessible room with sofa. The room was nice except for the height of the bed (which a previous customer said in a review “the bed is for someone six feet tall and the toilet for someone five feet tall”) and the highway noise which was constant all night except for about 2 hours. Needless to say no sleep for us that night. On our previous stay three weeks earlier the noise in the hallway and in the room next door kept my husband awake most of the night. When we checked out I advised the front desk and I guess it was the manager on duty overhead and came out to see what was wrong. When I advised the bed was high she disputed that and was very rude to me. I am not quiet 5 ft tall and 75 years old. I cannot jump up on a bed or, for that matter, any where. When I stood beside the bed it came up between my waist and neck. If you are going to have beds that tall you need to furnish a nice set of bed steps to use to get into bed. Regarding the highway noise I realize Hampton cannot do anything, except maybe try to sound proof that room more. As we were leaving the manager(?) advised that Hampton was going to comp the room. We did not ask for the room rate to be comped or rate to be reduced. She just came out and said it. We received our credit card bill today and shock, shock Hampton charged us for the room.So I suppose we can add telling untruths to the list. My son had been trying to convince us to stay at Comfort Suites and, as of now, that is exactly what we plan to do. No more...
Read moreWent middle of the road on this review because I had a pretty good experience first time here, then sub-par on my next stay. Overall, I would be willing to stay here again but would check out some of the other hotels first.
GOOD: Hotel was pretty clean. Breakfast was good. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Gym equipment looked brand new, presumably because most folks passing through here are too lazy to work up a sweat. I gave treadmill #1 a good breaking-in though.
NOT SO GOOD: Second time here my room reeked of marijuana. This is a non-smoking hotel and room where they claim to charge you a $250 cleaning fee for smoking. They either aren't enforcing that or aren't cleaning the rooms of the smoke afterwards, because it was so bad I had to ask for a different room. I blame this on management, not the helpful employee behind the front desk. Next room was very recently renovated like the rest of hotel and acceptable to stay in. However, they either have a lousy contractor doing the renovations and/or an idiot customer base tearing up the new rooms. I'm leaning toward both actually. The tub had a huge crack in it, obviously leaking water into room below. This looks like contractor either installed it broken or dropped a heavy tool on it after installation and just said "screw it", because nothing you normally bring into your shower would cause this big of a break completely through the plastic. There were other indications of sloppy contractor work, like an improperly repaired hole in drywall by door and small details like glue squirted everywhere they attached baseboard trim. I would be willing to stay here again since it was generally clean, just might have to yell at the potheads a few times.
