If you are thinking about staying at this place, I recommend you RUN FAR-FAR AWAY and find somewhere else to stay instead! Even your car would be a better place to sleep than this sleazy motel. My husband and two kids and I were on a long road trip across the US and we stopped here for the night because we needed somewhere to crash. First of all, they didn't understand that a Service Dog doesn't get charged a pet fee. They then asked to see my Service Dog’s identification card (which the ADA does not require). They weren't mean about it, just uneducated. So we educated them. Next, the room keys didn't work, so they had to be replaced, then when we walked into our room we were absolutely disgusted by what we saw. There were stains on the bedding - FRESH BODY FLUIDS (that I assume came from a man)!!! There were dead roach carcasses all over the floor, as well as live roaches and other bugs throughout the room. There was also feces smeared on the bathroom walls. Black mold on the bathroom ceiling, and my youngest daughter got bit up by some bugs and ended up covered in bug bites by the time we woke up. The only reason we stayed at this place was because we were so exhausted it wasn't safe for us to drive anywhere else. It was so nasty we didn't even bring in our belongings and we slept in our clothing on top of the covers. The next morning we woke up starving and we were anticipating a nice warm breakfast that they had advertised for. Yeah, well, that anticipation was quickly squashed when we walked into their dining area at the exact time they said breakfast started at only to find 2 types of cereal available, but not even milk. That's it. Their juice machines also didn't work. The employee who was running the place was just standing there talking to herself and ignoring us. We finally decided to checkout and leave because we wanted to get as far away from that place as we could. I've included pictures as proof.

Check-in was fine. The lady and gentleman who were at the desk were very nice and helpful. As soon as I opened the door to my room, all I could smell was "damp". The room smelled as if it had been kept closed for quite a while. The air conditioner had been turned off, so it was also quite hot, but cooled down quickly. The furniture was dirty and needed to be steam cleaned and vacuumed. The top cover on the bed had not been washed in quite some time. The headboard had not been cleaned and there were handprints, etc. smeared across it. The sheets were clean, though. The area around the sink was tidy, but the counter had not been wiped off and had dirt and dust over it. The bathroom is in dire need of an upgrade and had mold on the ceiling. The showerhead and drain were rusty, and it didn't look like the showerhead had ever been cleaned. The walls of the shower also had not been scrubbed well in a while. The paint or coating was peeling off of the toilet. The door to the outside of the room and to the bathroom were absolutely gross, and something had torn up part of the door to the bathroom- maybe another customer's dog at some point? The entire floor was particularly disgusting. I wore my shoes whenever I needed to get up as I noticed the bottom of my socks got black after just one walk to the sink. The entire area between the walkway and parking lot was covered in cigarette butts. If I could've gotten a refund, hadn't been at work all day and driving for many hours, I would have gone to another hotel. I slept in the middle of the bed on a blanket from my car, with the hotel pillows and blankets shoved far away, and left shortly after waking up. I wouldn't recommend staying here. I read reviews before booking, and there were quite a few positive ones; however, I think it must be room dependent on how clean and appealing it is.

The first room we were given wasn't cleaned...bedding was pulled back, keys were on the desk. Should have left. All I can say about the second room was that the bed was made. There was food in the fridge, something disgusting in the tub, a dead centipede on the floor, food crumbs on the floor. Ya, I know we should have left. It was just a place to sleep for few hours and thought we could suffer through it. We went to dollar general to buy bleach wipes to we could touch the surfaces.. When we pulled the sheets back to go to sleep there were bed bugs and the mattress smelled. We pulled the covers back up laid on top of covers and tried to sleep. By 4 AM, I couldn't take it. The only thing open at 4AM is Waffle House. They do have coffee to go. I went back and sat in my car to wait for my husband to get up. Evidently, management said at 9pm everyone had to be in there room and by drinking coffee in my car I was loitering. I had to go into my room or leave. When I explained why I was sitting in my car, they said I was saying that because they told me I had to go in my room. It went round and round. Just don't.

We arrived at about 9:30pm with two kids who were exhausted from driving all day. We got a good price but we overpaid. First problem was that the door didn't work correctly. It took us about 10 tries to get it to open. Second, immediately upon entering the room the smoke detector beeped. Upon inspection it had no battery in it and kept on beeping.  Third, we tried to call the front desk but the phone didn't work. We had to call with our cell phone. After waiting for a long time, my husband walked down to the front desk to get a battery. He was not able to get one and was told to wait for the maintenance man to come. Fourth, while waiting for the maintenance man, we found out that the toilet does not flush. We called with our cell phone to the front desk about this issue also. Fifth, for some unknown reason the alarm clock was hidden under the bathroom sink...we didn't even try to plug it in to see if it worked. My kids managed to fall asleep otherwise we would have left. We stayed here so we could get some much needed sleep while traveling. We waited up for the maintenance man for 45 minutes (we had been told he would be 10-15 minutes) before my husband walked down to the front desk again to see if someone was coming or if we could get a different room. At 10:40 we were moved to the room next door which smelled of smoke, even though it was a non smoking room, but it was quiet and everything seemed to work. Again, the only reason we didn't just leave was to let our kids sleep as much as possible, and because we were increasingly sleep deprived ourselves and needed to sleep. Sixth, we were not given a key to our new room so we had to load our car before breakfast...not a huge deal except the bathroom in the lobby was out of order so we didn't have access to a bathroom. Seventh, there was already someone new in our old room by the time we woke up and I am almost positive they didn't have someone change the sheets in the middle of the night. Lastly, breakfast was ok except the literally Frozen sausage sandwich. The staff was nice but the hotel was not up to par in...

I was actually an employee at this horrid place . First there were multiple ROACHES not only in room drawers & in room but also in the kitchen area where breakfast was served . The bathroom in lobby was never clean it was piss in toilets for days . Instead of using The hotel air freshener that is provided by the choice hotel it was actually FABLOUSO PURPLE being sprayed as an air freshener on Liniens & in your room . also if you get a smoking room You will be assigned the dingiest towels and dingiest sheets with burns& holes in them bc you are a “smoker” . Cleaning towels were also mixed with Regular towels you groom & bathe with . Also if they run out of the orange juice they would go to Sams Club & use the same OJ DISPENSER that’s supposed to be disposed & apply SUNNY D . Yes I know it seems absurd but this is actually goin on . Not to mention if you look under sinks or behind TVs you would see openly Rat 🐀TRAPS which should not be there . I would never recommend anyone staying there . The breakfast is bought from sams club nothing is ordered from company as it should be . The coffee machine hasn’t been cleaned in months . Your frozen sausage patties you love so much is also from sams club in a two pack if they do not EAT all of the breakfast food that day no worries it will surely be left over for tomorrow no disposing of nothing & many people have played & touch over the food but yet they still decide to put it out the next day to “ save money “ even the pancake batter which have water liquid substance in it once it is refrigerated. They accept 20.00 pet fees but not once have they assigned certain rooms from pets so basically if a person with a dog 🐕 has slept there before you you are basically sleeping with the dog bc the room is cleaned as if it is regular which it’s not supposed to be . It’s supposed to be stripped everything especially for fleas & ticks . They don’t even change the top cover so everybody is sleeping on the same cover this place is a rip off & VERY DISGUSTING & I have pictures to prove everything I’ve said will...

We called the phone number on the website. Booked 2 rooms and told hem we had dogs. Paid online. || When we arrived the staff member argued with Us that we didn’t have the rooms we stated we booked. We showed her the email confirmation. She said that ||we booked through a third party and that they mid-booked us. It took us 10 minutes of explaining to her we booked through econolodge and then we finally just got the rooms that they had close to each other. || the employee then argued that we didn’t pay for our dogs. We showed her the confirmation email again and still She said we had to pay for the dogs. we were so tired that we just agreed to. || She gave us the keys and had us sign. We left the office to get our kids and walk our dogs. Then her husband came out and yelled at mY wife, who was in the van, “you need to come with me inside.” Thinking Something was wronG, she went inside. They yelled at her that we were trying to sneak dogs in without paying. She showed her the email confirmation again and re-iterated that we told his wife we had dogs. Then they argued about it. ||During all this the son, who claimed to be the owner, went in the back and secretly called the police. After listening to them for 10 minutes about that we lied we asked to cancel the reservation. While waiting for the son To cancel it, the police showed up. 3 of Tupelo’s finest!!! Apparently this hotel doesn’t like to be shown they made a mistake and that customers won’t tolerate hotels that treat people terribly. || So just before midnight we had to take our kids back out of the hotel room, which they said smelled like cigarettes, and had to look for another hotel. ||La Quinta inn is a couple miles up the road and is pet friendly, and they don’t charge for pets. || Stay away from this sub-par hotel. This is another example of hotel owners that think they can do whatever they want to make money off people. Extremely rude employees and the owner Dee Patel (the son) that...
