McDonald's — Restaurant in Tupelo

I used to prefer the one on South Gloster but last few times I was very disappointed. This is one of a few visits to this location but I'm thoroughly impressed. I thought the food was great, all fresh and hot. Had to wait a few moments on our burgers to be cooked but well worth the wait. And a first for me was the 3rd window! Instead of having to pull up in an awkward spot, bout blocking the whole operation they have added another window that keeps the employee out of the weather but also is really a whole lot safer in many many ways. For being one of my well, honestly hated burger joints ever, I've got to give them a very well deserved 5 stars for the food and energy. And they definitely moved up a notch in the "wtf are we actually feeding ourselves" places. Great job McDonald's! Yall in the neighborhood and want something on a budget I highly recommend em! Try the Q/P BBQ Bacon. If I would have had time for an ice cream cone too, I might not have cussed out 12 people on my way home...

There is a total renovation going on at this location, and it appears to be close to finished. They removed the fun games and stool seating from the last renovation, and replaced it with some strange-looking raised booths with individual overhead lights. There are now touch screens in the ordering area so you can opt to avoid human contact with the workers 2 feet away and tap your choices onto a screen instead. No ketchup or condiment station, and the wall art is odd. There were approximately 5 workers in the front of the house, none of which acknowledged us, but they spent our entire meal gossiping loudly while sitting at a large table together. We waited for our meal for 10+ minutes as the only patrons in the restaurant, and still ended up with old fries and cold burgers. It wasn't a good experience. I visited this place multiple times and the atmosphere is the same they're okay but they're not the service is terrible. When I was younger I worked in fast food restaurants I even managed a couple restaurants down in Florida. I understand that McDonald's is trying to make money and I definitely understand that we have to give this a good service like handbag out and making sure the shake machine is running and Fries are always going because that's our big money makers however people don't have to be mean and if they are they do more damage than help. So I understand that Dynamics when I tell you when I asked you to go down the street instead of going to this one I mean it.
