Tupelo Burger Company — Restaurant in Tupelo

This is more like 2.5 stars. The staff was friendly and the place looked clean. We waited approximately 5 minutes before being acknowledged at the counter and placing our order. That's not a real big deal considering most places are understaffed nowadays. Our order was for the mushroom swiss burger and the big cheddar, both with fries, and an order of mozzarella sticks with 1 drink and 1 water. The total came to around $40 including the tip. The burgers and fries came first followed by the fried cheese sticks. The burgers were smaller than expected especially with the cost of them being $10.50 per burger. The fries were good "home style" fires. I had the "Cajun" which tasted exactly the same as the regular fries. The mozzarella sticks were good. The burgers need improvement for their price tag. My family has never had a problem eating at Tupelo Burger until today. We ordered as usual, I did not want any fries so I ordered mozzarella sticks and I ordered shrommy Swiss as always with no lettuce. I told the cashier I wanted my mozzarella sticks with my burger. My family got their burgers as I got my mozzarella sticks sticks, no problem. I waited and waited. As my family finished their meals I still did not have a shrommy burger. I went to the counter and asked for my burger to go as I did not get it in time with my family. They told me sure. However, instead of being put in the front of the line, as it should have being as I already waiting as a n eat in customer, I had to wait another 30 minutes for it to be cooked and fixed.i will however, eat there again because we love the food. Did not have a good experience with my first take out so decided to give it another try. Called in order and the young lady said 15 minutes. When I arrived there was no one in the restaurant at all and three employee. They had forgotten to hit a button on register so they had not even started on it. I waited and also still tipped the cashier and I get home to cold French fries and neither burger was prepared as ask. One I ask no lettuce, tomato or pickle and it came fully dressed.
