Starbucks — Restaurant in Turlock

I have a friend who is a barrista here at this location. Also this is a brand new building and the atomospere takes some getting use to considering this corner spot use to be some other kind of business for a long time. If I look across the street I can see coffee shop competitors. Because its Starbucks and because I know one of the barristas thi place gets a thumbs up. I went in to buy a gift card as a Christmas gift 🎁 but this place were out of choices. They had a lot of birthday & best teacher cards but only a couple of Christmas gift cards. Also they were out of envelopes. I had to use a flat paper Starbucks bag as a sleeve. The feeling here is not quite developed. It feels empty and weird. It’s now official. Starbucks will only let you use their restroom or sit for a few minutes if you spend money on that particular visit.

I work a lot in the field, but have to make regular stops due to medications that I take.

For health and financial reasons, I can’t buy coffee or food every time I have to stop.

I’ve always appreciated that Starbucks was a welcome place for this occasional need and make a point of being a Rewards member and spending money with them on a regular basis.

This is a major change and that’s too bad.

I will use up my remaining points and then say goodbye to Starbucks. I’m sure they will survive...

People at both drive through and inside are not the friendliest. I've had my order wrong almost every time and when It's brought to their attention they are rude. Their wait time is ridiculous. I've waited up to 25 min for 3 coffees and a pastry. Definitely stopped going to this location, I'd rather drive an extra 5 min to the one on West main. I've tried contacting the main office about service every time and they "can't get in the system" I've never left a bad review but I had to...
