I have a friend who is a barrista here at this location. Also this is a brand new building and the atomospere takes some getting use to considering this corner spot use to be some other kind of business for a long time. If I look across the street I can see coffee shop competitors. Because its Starbucks and because I know one of the barristas thi place gets a thumbs up. I went in to buy a gift card as a Christmas gift 🎁 but this place were out of choices. They had a lot of birthday & best teacher cards but only a couple of Christmas gift cards. I work a lot in the field, but have to make regular stops due to medications that I take.
For health and financial reasons, I can’t buy coffee or food every time I have to stop.
I’ve always appreciated that Starbucks was a welcome place for this occasional need and make a point of being a Rewards member and spending money with them on a regular basis.
This is a major change and that’s too bad.
I will use up my remaining points and then say goodbye to Starbucks. I’m sure they will survive...
