Had high hopes for this place based on the reviews. Unfortunately, it's not all that. Not sure if it was the Labor Day crew working (and didn't know exactly what they were doing), or if it's always this meh, but a lot of good intentions with poor execution. I probably would have overlooked the mediocre food if the service was better, but we drew the short straw again, and had a server that didn't understand the assignment. When you have to ask another server to find your server just to get a refill on a drink or see about desert, they're doing it wrong. While it may seem like a "date night" place, I would recommend against that, unless you plan on spending the rest of the date in the bathroom. The Chuck's salad was not that good, complete with stale, store-bought croutons. The Stuffed Shrimp was not that good (plenty of crab shell, though, if you're into that). The "Special" entree was not that great, either. And, whatever you do, DO NOT get the bread pudding desert. It might have pudding, no bread, and maybe not even real pudding. More of a science project shaped like real food. They should be ashamed of themselves for serving that junk and calling it food. Bottom line, maybe go there for drinks as they're harder to screw up. Just don't trust our server to know they have Happy Hour EVERY DAY per their website. We asked about it, he claimed that there was no Happy Hour on (what day is it?) Sunday. We were there at 5:15pm. We could have gone to the bar for a few drinks before dinner. Won't be going back any time soon.

The sever was attentive and really great about taking care of us and knowledgeable about the menu but they seemed understaffed on waitstaff and in the kitchen as the food took a long time to come to the table. The server came by multiple times saying the food is coming right out. Food was just mediocre although presentation was on point. Everything on the menu was not available. Red snapper was on the menu but had to settle for grouper which is disappointing. The first glass of tea was very light the second even lighter, very clear in fact so I asked for a soda instead but was charged for tea even though it was not good. The tea needs to steep much longer for color and flavor. When what you order is terrible you should not be charge for it. The atmosphere is not indicative of a high end restaurant as it was very loud, not quaint and relaxing. We went on a double date expecting to have a nice relaxing meal. The menus felt and looked dirty. It appears most issues are management issues not staff related. If I go back I’ll try a different location, but it won’t be any time soon. My overall score reflects poor management and not having products on the menu and for charging for poor quality tea/soda as we didn’t order any cocktails. My check covered two people. We ordered an appetizer to share and an entree each. I had tea/soda my wife drank water and we shared a dessert. Bill was $125 plus tip which put it over $150.at these prices the guests should not walk out feeling like this was any ordinary...

We joined my cousin for her 70th birthday celebration here a few weeks ago. The atmosphere was great. This was my first time here so I was very excited to see what they had to offer. The menu was limited in my opinion. Lots of sushi , limited fish dishes. However they offered ribeyes which looked really good . They also have pizza. I had a sushi roll. They were tiny, and weren’t very filling. I also tried the gumbo. It was tasty but there was no meat in my serving. I’m sure it would have been better if there was. Our service left a lot to be desired. Maybe she was new. She wasn’t very friendly and she seemed agitated with us. She never introduced herself and she couldn’t recommend any particular dish. But like I said she may have been new. We ordered drinks first most of us had iced tea and water. Sho couldn’t remember to bring them and we were sending for teas most of the meal because she said she’d be right back with the rest of our drinks but never got to it and just started taking our orders. Most of our group ordered pizza since she couldn’t suggest or expound on anything on the menu. The drinks were quite pricey from the bar and so was the food. I think the steak was reasonably priced but that was about it. We did enjoy the celebration and that’s what matters. There was a bit of confusion when we were settling our bills but the manager was happy to fix the issues. Great atmosphere. I will return to give it...
