In a world of many chicken finger choices, this place edges out the competition. It's very similar to Guthrie's and Cane's, and in a way, Zaxby's. It's kind of surprising that the market's thirst for fried chicken, specifically fingers, can support so many options. I'd say that Foo's, Cane's, and Guthrie's are nearly identical when it comes to taste, with Foo's solidly edging out the lead by having much better sauce choices and a few more menu options. Zaxby's may have a larger menu and tons more locations, but the core of the menu is chicken fingers and Foo's does that better. The drive through experience is much like Chick-fil-A where they take your order on a tablet outside. I find this to be a necessary double-edged sword. Both restaurants do this because they have to. They're so popular that they'd lose business if they didn't do their absolute best to speed people through the drive-through. I went to the location in Tuscaloosa, 2 nights in a row, while in town for business. Both nights, there were over 20 cars in line in front of me when I pulled up. The line wraps down the street to where it turns off the main road. When it's that long, there comes a point that people can't line up on the main road and would have to pass it by because the line is to long. Both nights I went were around 8pm and it was nearly to the main road so I imagine it's worse at lunch and dinner times. In closing, if all 4 of these restaurants were next door to each other, I'd go to Foo's every time. I'll be back in Tuscaloosa to work at the stadium several times over the next couple months and will be eating at Foo's...

Foosackly's, WOW! I had no idea what to expect here having only heard it was kinda like Guthries. So I thought, great, another boring chicken-only place. But the kids wanted to try it so that's where we went. Seven entrees ordered in the drive thru. Was it perfect? No. The order taker did not try to "upsell" anything, but that's more of an issue for the business and not for the customer. Apart from that, she was very friendly. And a great thing was the wait time... they were super quick! Great job team. So far, so good. Got home and of course 7 entrees and 2 sides, surely they messed up somewhere, right? Well I was wrong to assume they would make an error. Every item was present and accounted for, and hot. Now, to the food... The cole slaw was good. The fries, really good. The chicken fingers, AMAZING! They were the best chicken fingers I've ever eaten. I didn't even know chicken fingers could taste that good, so juicy and tender. Their house sauce was good too, not much different than their competitors' house sauce. This is really hard for me to say, but here goes. Foosackly's chicken fingers were slightly better that Chick-fil-a's. You can't really compare the two restaurants because their menus are drastically different with CFA offering a LOT more variety. But if you go head to head with fried chicken fingers, Foosackly's wins in the photo finish. I had no idea what to expect when trying this place for the first time but it was GREAT, and the prices were low. Definitely will be going back,...

The Bops: I stopped by Foosackly’s for a quick bite of chicken tenders and fries. The food tastes good and the sauces slap!! I have to call out the honey mustard and Foos sauces for being a bop. I was in the middle of traveling so I decided to eat in restaurant which was quite clean! The Flops: While inflation do be hitting us all… I think Foos went a little overboard. I had a “chicken tender” which was literally the size of a crinkle fry. Big Yikes!! It really made me think to myself “this ain’t it, chief”. They counted this “chicken tendy” as a full one… the math just wasn’t mathing at this point. Moving on to the next flop, the toast really tasted like just toast without much seasoning and it was pressed down (flattened). I’m having a hard time making a decisive conclusion whether or not to try Foosacklys again. While the food and the sauces tasted really good, how can I overlook the literal french fry sized “chicken tendy”. I really hope this was a mishap, a momentary lapse of swag, and that this isn’t a common case for Foos!

It was our first time here. The food is nothing but chicken fingers. We ordered a kids meal and the five finger box. We sat down with our drinks and our food was brought to us on a tray. The fingers are medium sized which was fine. It comes with a boatload of crinkle french fries, texas toast, and coleslaw. The food was hot and tasted great. The slaw wasn't sweet or sour. It was shredded and just right. There are napkins and a whole bottle of ketchup on the table. There were no trash cans anywhere. They clean your table after you leave. There is a small cart with plastic wrapped silverware, ketchup and mustard packets, and styrofoam containers for your leftovers. Really convenient! Btw, the honey mustard is real and the Foo sauce is the same thing as Zaxby's sauce.

Chicken fingers were excellent. We ordered the 5 finger box which included Krinkle Cut fries and Cole slaw. The staff was super friendly. The young man who took our order set us up with all the sauces to try. Foo sauce is their staple. My daughter is a student at the University and loves this place so we had to try it. We will go again. Please like this review. Thank you!
