Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Tuscaloosa

I have never in my life had to wait to pick up food from a window and it’s already paid for. My food was ready before I got there I drove through the driver thru of course and waited there 15 minutes before someone looked out the window. the thing is there’s about 5-6 people in the store they all came to the window multiple times and just ignored me. Very unprofessional. I had to turn my car interior light on in order for them to see me. The manager on duty is lucky I didn’t ask for my money back. I hope and pray to god this is my first and last review for jimmy johns. I love jimmy John I used to work for them back in 2013 up in Michigan. I work for dominos now for the last 3 years. These restaurants need to have better customer service. I know I’m guilty as charged sometimes. But I at least knowledge you that your their while I’m working. But 15 minutes...

This place seems to exist for the convenience of the employees NOT the customer. Even though it has tables for dining in it has none of the basics that any place purporting to be a restaurant should. There is no salt and pepper, no utensils and amazingly even napkins and straws are kept behind the counter so that you have to ask. We didn't get so much as a tray or basket to carry our food from the counter to the table. This is supposedly a sandwich specialty joint but you can't even get pickles on your sandwich! Not realizing that, we asked for pickles on our sandwich and instead they added a whole kosher pickle to our order which we did not order. The veggie sandwich is not good. The supposed "real avocado spread" is a joke. There was a tiny amount that was undetectable to the mouth. We'll never go to a Jimmy...

I come to this jimmy johns all the time and never had this experience. I ordered my usual sandwich, then heard no response for two minutes. Once the employee was back I repeated my order and the man working the drive through was making a joke about 9/11 (inappropriate and I don’t know you at all… so to be making jokes..) Then the woman in front of me had a cow because all of her sandwiches were wrong (i’m thinking they may have accidentally given her mine) and when I came to the window they gave me a sandwich I (#1) did not order, and #2 looked like the sandwich the lady before me gave back (looked like it was re-wrapped). Which was also not what I ordered. I wonder how many cycles of new management they’ll have before they close this location.. Please stop hiring man children that don’t care...
