Jalapeños Mexican Food — Restaurant in Tustin

I have been going to this restaurant for a couple of years now, before they had acceptable service. But a few months ago the service is terrible, the food takes a long time to be served and when it is delivered it is cold and all because the kitchen staff does not do their job, on several occasions I have had to see how the cooks are fighting with the staff in front, why don't they schedule and deliver everything mixed up, they skip many orders and the staff that prepares the food in front have a lot of uncompleted orders on the trays under the air conditioning for a long time and in the end they deliver it frozen and when The customers complain that it is a mess because there is a man with glasses named Isidro who, according to the manager, is a very rude person who never wants to replace the food. Another thing that I have seen and that I have also had to suffer from is that there is a I think the cashier's name is Esmeralda, I imagine she's new because she wasn't there before, I think she came in instead of another lady who also had terrible service named Karla, but hey, there's another cashier who just spends her time glued to her cell phone and talking to her friends. colleagues and leaves customers waiting in line for a long time and when she starts to collect you realize that she is not an intelligent girl all the time she makes mistakes with the orders she gives you different things than what you order or she doesn't take your order complete and if you complain the girl gets angry and doesn't want to serve you to charge you what you needed and tells you to wait in line again without accepting that she is the one who takes the orders wrong. She is a very rude girl, she is unbearable, seriously, what a hateful person that girl is, she should not work in customer service, on the other hand, not everything is bad, there are also very friendly staff who do their job very well and always serve you with a smile and talk. Of their waitresses, a short lady with short hair and a tall chubby lady who always wears bows in her hair, they are the only ones I see who do their job as it should be. and the owners are conspicuous by their absence, I don't think they care about their clients nor do they care about the staff they have. I eat a lot of mexican food in orange county (and mexico) and am rarely disappointed. Jalapenos was one of those times however. The first thing I noticed was how expensive everything was; $2.60 for one tiny POTATO taco. Something like that is usually under $1.50. But despite that, I thought ok, maybe this is some gourmet specialty place like Taco Mesa. Nope. The menu is actually quite limited (the menu online is NOTHING like the actual menu they offer.) Everything I ordered was literally the cheapest most basic version of mexican-ish elements. Stale, super thick tortilla chips, iceberg lettuce, grocery store (melted then congealed) shredded cheese, guacamole that seemed to have no seasoning, and some similarly disappointing refried beans. The asada was OK, but my goodness does it pale in comparison to any other asada, even in Tustin. Jalapenos may have all the main ingredients for mexican dishes, but they are all certainly low quality, and it is glaringly obvious that no work, creativity, or even seasonings go into the food. I really must believe that the positive reviews here are people who either have not had proper mexican food, or just prefer americanized, bland, faux mexican. Awesomeness. This is the best place not only bec they have the best food but also bec every single person that works here is the best!!!! If u want really really good food and super great service jalapeños is where it’s at!!!! So I had to edit this review to add that this place is like home!! I can’t get over the fact that literally every single person that works here is literally amazing; awesome, beautiful and so very nice and helpful. I love it here and I love them all again they r so nice and so up beat!! Thank u all at Jalapeños!! There are a lot of Mexican food places I love/like but Jalapeños is in a league of it own!! Lol.
