ABC, easy as 123 Or simple as do re mi
The accountant in my analysis statistics and # and Tustin which is known for their Asian foods should still have a decent burger around you would think. Well when compared to the clichΓ© of Omega and their dated dΓ©cor, Peter's and the name Gourmet had me intrigued. I often love the Greek and med influences and figured the famous burgers would live up to the rating.
When I starting coming here I did not expect to find a place with this many reviews in such an industrial spot. It's got a corner location, but can be missed as there really is only 1 entrance/exit and parking is limited. It can get busy, mostly at lunch. Service is good, friendly, but it's still run like a burger shack versus a gourmet restaurant. The menu has very intriguing items and mostly at a good value. Large portions, but many of their items are constructed and plated poorly. The new location is no longer at Valero's, but wasn't a huge upgrade, the dΓ©cor is very dated Mexican restaurant.
Back to the Jackson 5 intro. The ABC Burger. Their most popular item, Avocado, Bacon and a loaded burger. It's a great combination and pretty filling. Doesn't need all the sauce and condiments as the Avo provides so much oomph. Shredded cheese though. It's not a pizza guys. I found it a tad greasy, perhaps a little high on the ratio. It's wortha try for sure. Mt. Olympus isn't a monster, just gryo, oregano on a standard burger, ditch the feta and tomato and it's pretty good if you add pastrami, boom. Meat snacks. Gyro works well "village style" with the feta and fries, but keep that off my burgers. If your hungry go with the Greek fries, imagine Carne Asada Fries , but with gryo lamb meat, feta, onions and tzatziki sauce. I think it could use some pita up in there and a thicker sauce, some garlic.
So the menu is simple, the dΓ©cor is basic, the food is pretty good, but no higher than a 3 star. I thought part of the novelty was the old location was in a Valero and really good for gas station food, but a stand alone their real best invention is the sweet potato fires and melted marshmallows. If they found a way to wrap that up to go, BOOOM. Text or call in your orders during lunch. Prices are good and you'll probably leave full or...
Β Β Β Read moreNothing like a delicious burger mom and pop joint to satisfy your hunger needs. After going to the American Family's Pet Expo of 2018, my family and I were unaware of where to eat afterwards. Looking at tall the great reviews on Yelp about this place, we thought we'd give them a shot. The place when you look at it at first looks like theres no where to wait if you order food. But, once you enter the place is fairly big. Theres a whole other room for sitting and watching any games going on. The menu has original items from before the new owners took over but they added two burgers of their own, one if which is their newest addition. I ordered Bubba's Burger that came with lettuce, crispy onions, tomato, cheddar cheese, and BBQ sauce. I got my burger as a combo with shoestring fries and a fountain drink. The shoestring fries are delicious and not heavily oiled and is sprinkled with seasoning salt. They didnt need anything like ketchup but the ranch was so darn good to resist. My boyfriend got the newest addition called the "Hermanator", named after the chef who made it. If you want a spicier taste of burger, this is your burger. My mom got an order of the sweet potato fries with her burger. In my opinion, they were okay just needed a little bit of salt. My mom got the ABC burger (their most popular burger), changed the party to a veggie party and added cheddar cheese. Yes I said it, you can replace the patty! I definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a quality burger joint and if...

I'm not even kidding you, I think that has got to be one of the best burgers I've ever eaten.π It was cooked perfectly, charbroiled medium-well and seasoned just right. I ordered the Hermanator Burger, if you like a little "heat with your meat" this is the Burger for you, along with some thick cut Applewood bacon, fresh lettuce, Chipotle mayo, melted pepper jack cheese, with a few jalapeΓ±os served on a potato bun... Mann when you order one of these burgers you're gunna be in "hog heaven" I ordered my combo with traditional sting fries (sweet potato fries are available too) the fries were cooked and salted just right, nice and crispy, and plenty of them, to last to the last bite of your Burger, and I grabbed a self-serve fountain drink. π This is a small Mom and Pop Burger Joint. The staff is very friendly and helpful, ready to answer any questions about the menu π also willing to give a few suggestions on some of the menu items. π I will for sure come back again, they have quite a few burgers choices, including all the traditional burgers, they also have chicken and pastrami sandwiches plus salads and other cool items to choose, I can't wait to...
