This eatery never fails us. Every experience has been good. Huge portions. We never walk away hungry. Reasonably priced for what you get. Let's talk food. My favorite item is the "killer koufax". Its basically a pulled pork sandwich. Dont let the habanero cheese scare you, it's not spicey. The delicious chipotle raspberry sauce on it makes everything ok. Its messy to eat, but finger licking good. Literally! The "Clubhouse" sandwich is fantastic and huge. It's my husband's favorite. For a healthier choice, try one of their salads, they have several to choose from. The "Ty Cobb" is my favorite. Its huge. It has super tender beef steak on it with a light smoke flavor. I always omit the blue cheese crumbles. And the chipotle bacon bits are like candy! Now for something not listed on their regular menu; "Mac & Cheese Bites". It's an appetizer. Little deep fried morsels of macaroni with pepper Jack cheese. Seems like there's about 6-8 bites in an order, worth it every penny if you like the ingredients I listed. Let them cool first cause they will be hot! If you dont, your gonna burn your tounge; yes I'm speaking from experience. The cheese inside is like molten lava at first, so let it cool I bit before eating. And if you love garlic, then try their garlic parmesan fries. The smell alone is intoxicating! The staff is always friendly. Facility is always clean. It's a smaller place, but hey....your supporting a local downtown business! Lots of TVs to watch sports on. Local artists photography on the walls. Very relaxed atmosphere. Kids are welcome. It can get pretty busy around noon, so dont go their in a hurry. I wouldnt say they are slow by any means. Its just everything is made to order, so it takes a bit when they are busy. But they never let your drinks run dry and the end result is...
Read moreNumerous friends recommended Scooters while I was in town, and it did not disappoint. It’s a cool local bar and grill tucked into an older building in Twin Falls, with a great neighborhood vibe. I stopped in for happy hour (which wraps up at 6 PM) and was impressed by the prices—$3 for a craft draft or a well drink. They’ve got around 15 taps, plus a solid selection of cans, bottles, and a good variety of hard spirits.
For food, I tried the garlic fries on a friend’s recommendation, and wow—those did not disappoint. There’s something about the way they’re cut, fried, and seasoned (plus the sauce!) that makes them seriously addictive. The burgers and other plates I saw coming out of the kitchen looked equally tempting, so I’ll definitely be back to dive deeper into the menu.
Service was top-notch, even though the place was busy. There were a few open tables and just enough space at the bar for me to grab a seat. Every staff member I interacted with was friendly and helpful, and they even handed me a free sticker—though I’d happily pay to support a place like this.
As someone who works in food safety, I can also say everything looked clean and well-kept, which is always a big plus in my book. Great job, Scooters! I’ll definitely be back for the full experience next time I’m in town. Good for kids or families as well. Thanks again for...
Read moreScooter’s Chillin’ n Grillin is like that quirky friend who always brings both the party and the punchlines—except here, the punchlines come on a plate (and sometimes on your tongue, thanks to the wings). Stepping into this Old Town Twin Falls gem is like entering a parallel universe where burgers are juicy enough to make tomatoes jealous and the wings pack a kick that could moonlight as a stand-up comedian.
The vibe is delightfully raucous: imagine a place where the laughter is as free-flowing as the drinks, and the music competes with your conversation for attention. Sure, at peak times the noise might rival a rock concert in a tin can, and service can be as unpredictable as Idaho’s weather, but hey, good things—and sometimes epic tales—come to those who wait.
Scooter’s earns a solid 4 stars because it nails the fun and the flavor, even if the occasional wait or rowdy cheer reminds you that you’re not in a quiet, over-polished eatery but in a bona fide local hangout. If you’re in Twin Falls and fancy a meal that’s as adventurous as your last wild story, Scooter’s Chillin’ n Grillin is definitely worth a spin. Just be ready for a night where the food, the laughs, and the quirky charm all come served with a side of good old...
