McDonald's — Restaurant in Tyler

Twice now I have come to this McDonald's at a later hour. It started out with my boyfriend and I walking in to see one person out front playing on their phone. We were not acknowledged by this person who appeared to work there. Instead another person had to walk up and take our orders. The registers at the front were not working for whatever reason so she had to place our order from the window. After a decent amount of time our order was brought to us, we were not in a rush so the wait wasn't a big deal. We were missing and item and it was quickly fixed. If it stopped here I really wouldn't have minded. However another lady came to the front and was refilling the ice. a guy from the back asked if they could start closing up and she said a a loud and frustrated voice that they couldn't because "these people are staying." She then proceeded to announced that she was going out for a smoke since they were gonna be here awhile. I just found this super unprofessional in any aspect. I'm sure they are fine for drive through or during the day but I will not be returning to this McDonald's after dark I...

Just being honest, some that I've been to the floors were sticky with soda all over the counters , and I sat in line for 20 min before I had someone approach me to ask if I had placed a order, each one is different so I can't speak for them all

But the McDonald's in Gladewater tx I just don't understand, either your there to work or just there to get a check and go home, If your working in a customer service experience each day ,on their job description it tells them basically to smile to Multi-task, to show great attitude even in the most toughest days , because times will get frustrating and we all get upset and wa t to leave but if that's not for you allow someone else that wants to work be in that position to keep the lines moving and outside drive through, and online order pickup for door dashers. I had one of the best experiences at McDonald's recently. Roxana and her early morning team are outstanding. I'm always greeted with a friendly "good morning" at the drive-thru, and by the time I reach the window, the service remains excellent. Roxana and her team consistently ensure that the food is fresh. I work just 10 minutes away, and even when I get to my desk, the food is still warm and fresh. It’s evident that the food is put together with care. I have stopped at this McDonald's several times a week throughout the past school year.
