China Buffet — Restaurant in Union City

Came in with family for mothers Day. I was very clear with the staff that I was trying to have rice noodles for my child. She has a wheat allergy, and I understand a buffet can not be 100% without contamination. I asked for clean rice noodles that haven't been mixed with the wheat noodles, and the man said he understood and could help. Another man then came over and quite literally slapped noodles into the dish and mixed it with the wheat noodles. If it was something you couldn't do, that would be fine, but to have someone try and help and another person to come up and be so disrespectful while someone was trying to help was so hurtful. It's hard enough trying to always try and find things for my child to eat. Then, for the staff to be talking about me in front of me, it was so very disrespectful, hurtful, and unkind. I learned quite a bit of Mandarin over the years, and honestly, I heard and understood enough of what they said to want to leave immediately.

If they didn't want to help, they could have just said so. They didn't have to be nasty. They could have told me the beginning of service and have just let us choose a different place to dine.

We have been to another buffet that did have accommodations and dishes that were appropriate for my child. So I know it wasn't too...

This is my third time eating here and I believe it will be my last. All three experiences have left my kids and I with a sour stomach. Plus instant restroom stop shortly after consuming. The vegetable egg rolls are always sour, egg foo yung cold , some of the plates and silverware are questionable.The prices are rediculous different my first time I dined in with my daughter and a friend girl we had separate checks I paid over 20.00 .Went shopping afterwards and the food went right through me. The second time I took my 3 kids with me and paid over 40.00 everybody was very nauseated with a sour stomach & bad gas .Monday I dinned in with a out of town guest on her Birthday for Presidents day plus my God son and my 3 kids . Paid 74.00 the vegetable egg rolls got me again sour as usual. Everyone was nauseated sour stomach bad gas . This time my daughter face broke out from shellfish allergy . UPDATE from a year ago::: Against my previous warning, my daughter & boyfriend went to eat here 2 days ago. They BOTH contracted FOOD POISONING within 6-12 hrs after eating. I can't believe the health department hasn't closed this place down!!!

OMG, AVOID THIS PLACE like the plaque!!!!!

Hubby & I became VIOLENTLY I'll with food poisoning within 6-12 hrs of leaving restaurant. We both dehydrated and still haven't fully recouped.

I believe it was bad seafood but am positive, beyond any doubt, it was food poisoning from this place. _----------------

The food is just ok for the price but don't get taken in on the weekend crablegs and oysters on half-shell. Not worth the price.
