Would definitely recommend! When my salesman came to the house, I had already spoken to 2 other companies about a fiberglass pool. I was going to get a 3rd bid and move forward with the company I felt the most comfortable with. Our salesman John actually took the time and listened to what my family wanted and were trying to accomplish with this project. He ended up steering us in the direction of a vinyl liner pool. My daughter wanted a diving board so we wanted the deep end to be at least 8ft. The vinyl liner pool was considerably less than the quotes on the fiberglass pools, but more importantly, fit our needs better. We moved forward with Aloha right away. John ordered my liner and as soon as it came in, sent the dig crew out. This is when we started having some issues. My sewer line was marked 4ft. off. The corner of the pool wall was going to be on top of the sewer line (36ft x 16ft rectangle). The dig crew called the owner Brad who was driving at the time. Brad got stopped and had these guys taking a bunch of measurements and let me know they could do a rounded corner to make it work. He took the time to draw a picture and send to my phone so I could have a better idea what they were proposing. They ordered a new liner so worked stopped until it came in. Liner came in, but we then had a week of rain. When they got back out to dig, they hit bedrock at 42". My shallow end is 14ft, then it slopes 14ft to the 8ft deep end which is 10ft. As soon as it started to slope, it was nothing but bedrock. I found some one to hammer out the bedrock and got back on schedule, My project coordinator was Dan. He did a great job! I always knew what was going on and if I had questions or concerns, he addressed them immediately. I'm out of town 2-3 nights a week and my wife has business calls she needs to be on through out the day, so when we were doing our initial fill, Dan would make a trip by the house to make sure everything was going good. What impressed me the most about Aloha was the employees. It wasn't that they all did such a great job (which they did), but every single person I was in contact with had a great attitude! The owner Brad, salesman John, project coordinator Dan, dig crew, set up crew, concrete crew, ladies in the office; all had a great attitude! The finished pool took longer than anticipated, but to be honest, there are bound to be unforeseen issues on a project this size. What's important is how they are handled. Obviously Aloha didn't know the sewer line was marked wrong or that they would hit bedrock at 42 inches. Definitely can't control the rain. Anything that was thrown at them, they knocked it out of the park! I could not be happier with the finished product and more importantly, my wife and daughter love the pool! Everyone that has seen the pool has commented on how beautiful it is. I told my wife that if we put in a pool, I was going to die in this house. If something totally unforeseen happens and I were to buy a different house, I would call Aloha and have them install a pool at the new house. I have attached pictures of the pool. 2 of them are of the concrete coping that looks like stone. It costs a little more than the standard cantilever coping, but is a upgrade that makes a big visual difference. It came out beautiful. Dan had recommended it, and I wasn't sure because I have a hard time visualizing things. I'm so glad I listened to him. I honestly can't tell you how happy I am with my pool. Aloha did a...
Read moreThey have made so many mistakes and had such poor communication in the past that I made sure I was here when they came to open the pool to watch EVERYTHING they did. Even with me being here they put the chlorinator on backwards AND destroyed my $2000 ledge lounger chairs. See pictures attached. They dragged them across the concrete on the sides, top and bottom and completely scratched them up. They cannot be used anymore because I fear they will tear up the pool liner since they are all scratched up. Especially given that I had a rip in the liner on the tanning ledge where the chairs are last year. That leads me to believe they have been dragging the chairs on the bottom every year and that may be what ripped the liner. It’s sharp and scratchy where the scratches are. I contacted ALOHA 5 weeks ago to get a resolution. It took 2 weeks before I even got a callback from Brittany. That was AFTER multiple messages from me reminding them I had not received a callback. She said she had been out of the office and was extremely nice and helpful at that point so I was hopeful even after the 2 week wait and multiple messages for a callback, that this would get resolved. She offered to replace the chairs and said she would check to see if they were in stock in the warehouse. That was on April 14th. I still have not received the chairs or even a response as to if they are in stock. I have sent MULTIPLE Messages and the response I get is they are checking with the warehouse. Then I hear nothing back until I message AGAIN asking what is going on. I sent a message on Thursday saying I expected a callback THAT DAY. I received a message from one of the workers they would make sure Brittany got the message. It’s Monday at 10:30 am and I have STILL not received a callback. This morning at 9 am, I even called and left a message ON TOP of ANOTHER text and NOTHING. I feel like I have been more than reasonable but have just been given the run around for FIVE WEEKS. meanwhile, the chairs on just haphazardly sitting on the side of the pool as I don’t want to move them until this is resolved so they can’t try to blame me for damaging them even though I have dated pictures of the damage..I don’t want to chance it. So in order to get around the pool we have to step over them. In addition, We have no chairs to use on our tanning ledge while I’m still waiting. I contacted ledge lounger directly and they have the chairs in stock and said they could get them here in 5 days yet 3 WEEKS later I’m still waiting for Aloha to even tell me if they have them in stock. Im trying to give them the benefit of the doubt and I hate leaving bad reviews but at this point, I don’t know what else to do. I couldn’t get the photos to upload directly from my phone so I just printed them and took a picture. You can still see the damage pretty...
Read moreI just wanted to post this as if this is any indication of the service you will receive, you need to buy your pool from Aloha Pools of Union City. I have purchased a pool from the Aloha of Jackson and I have been trying to get them to call me back. You know, made the sale, now crickets. Anyway, I was reading their reviews and notices a Brad Cook had responded to several of them with his number. Thinking it must be the service manager or something, I gave the number a call this am. Well it rang and rang (Like it does every time I call Aloha of Jackson when asking to be transferred to my sales rep) so I just hung up, like I do when I try them. Anyway, about 20 minutes later the number called me back. I was on the phone and couldn't get it so I missed the call. I tried the number back, same thing...just rang a few times so I hung up. I have sent emails, texts calls to Aloha of Jackson on numerous occasions and no response. Pool is not installed yet, just trying to get some simple questions answered. Anyway...sorry, long review, The number called back again. This time I answered it and he introduced himself "Brad Cook with Aloha pools" Finally I thought...I proceeded to explain that I have been trying to reach my salesman and saw his number and called him. He asked who the salesman was and then told me that he worked at the other Aloha pools of Jackson and he was of Union City and explained to me that he was the owner of Union City and his brother owned the one in Jackson. I asked him if I could ask him the questions which was a very easy question and Brad took the time to tell me the answer so I know what to do. think about it. I did NOT leave a message, I DID NOT buy a pool from him, He THE OWNER of the Aloha pools of Union city, took the time to call back a number that he didn't even know who was calling and took the time to call me AND answer the question. FOLKS, I don't know if you have ever purchased a pool, but that is not the type of service (unfortunately) that I have experienced after the purchase of my pool. Brad is the OWNER, I am not even his customer and he took the time to call me back. TRUST me when I say this. If that is the type of customer service they provide (remember he did not know who I was) then I can assure you that you will be very happy purchasing a pool from them. Everyone has mishaps but communication is key and when the boss man calls people back, you know you are dealing with a quality reputable company. Thank you Brad, Wish I would have purchased my pool from you...
