Even after spending $22 on ice cream and leaving a decent tip, the owner still wanted $0.50 for an EMPTY CUP to share amongst kids.
At least they didnât charge for extra spoons.

Thank you for the quick response. As the business owner it is, of course, your prerogative to charge whatever you deem fit. However, for an establishment that obviously serves a large number of minors, I do find the practice of charging $0.50 for a cup to be distasteful and a deterrent to sharing.
