Termini’s Pizzeria & Trattoria — Restaurant in Union City

WE have literally ordered from them 3 times in 3 weeks and I have been very happy every time. First of all the staff on the phone are polite, sweet, kind and happy! I asked for a recommendation and she was spot on! (chicken francese BTW). I gotta say if a pizza place make a great cheese pie I'm in. Always try this first before all the fancy style pizza's and it is really delicious. They make a very good sauce and they are always kind enough to send my hunny a small side of sauce so he can "dunk" his pizza. (It's his thing). Last time I tried the chicken francese over spaghetti in the same sauce and it was extremely tender chicken and tasty. The sauce over the pasta was so nice versus places that want to send regular red sauce over the spaghetti separate. I never understood that, it is better with the same sauce over the pasta. They will make whatever kind you want, I told them whatever they thought and they said spaghetti! Perfecto... The eggplant parmesan dinner is also delicious. My hunny always goes there for lunch and he has the eggplant parm sandwich a lot but the dinner is my thing. I love eggplant but after 45 years of making it myself, it is so nice to find a place that makes it really well. Light, thin and very much like I make it. Now I don't have to do all that work. We eat pizza at least once every two weeks or more, we enjoy it but everywhere else has been inconsistent. My hunny said lets see if they will deliver to Weehawken and lucky for us they do. The only difficult thing is getting a menu. We order directly to the place but use a menu on line to decide what we wanted the first few times. It hasn't been a problem but it would be nice to have a printed menu in the drawer :) The food always arrives hot, quick and the drivers have been really nice. They call as soon as they pull up and we usually charge on a card and tip cash. Makes ordering really simple if you don't happen to have cash on hand for a bigger order. It's my current happy place for pizza, and fresh Italian meals that are really delicious and make my busy, crazy life easier. Great job, we will be a regular...

Used to love eating here but over the last two times my family and I have ordered the food has been horrible. Just spent $70 on food and not even my pizza loving toddler would eat more than a few bites. The chicken Alfredo we got must’ve been sitting for a long time before delivery bc it was completely separated, the mozzarella sticks were mush, the wings are cheaply made, and the pizza was like rubber. I never post reviews but as someone whose loved and suggested this place to numerous people over the years it needs to be said that their quality of food is no longer the same. This place was a 5 star for me since I was a kid specially for their baked ziti but had to come leave a review to let you know including the new owners that their new recipe is not even close to how good the other one was. I called them to confirm and they said the new owner did change the recipe. This is not intended to offend but so that those of us who have been going to Terminis all our lives know what to expect.
