My sister was bringing me home from a very early doctor's appointment when we came upon an accident that would be an impediment to her returning home. So, since was still early, I suggested we have breakfast just as we were passing this Waffle House I knew had been closed for renovation a while ago, but had reopened. I had never eaten there and suggested we try it out.. We had a short wait for booth seats but everything else was nice, clean, quiet and looking good. The pecan waffles, sausage, eggs and coffee were on point and as ordered...with the exception of our waitress! If you are having a bad day and don't feel well: STAY HOME!! Manager (?) asked as I was paying for us, "how was everything," as I had mentioned when we arrived that it was our FIRST time there. My sister said "the food was good, but the service was HORRIBLE!!" Our waitress was slow, unfriendly, no smile or any kind of customer service shown. My last request for a NEW cup of coffee (I did not want hot coffee poured into warm/cool coffee) was met with a look of disdain. Our combined tip was a reflection of the poor service we received, which my sister pointed...
Read more1/5/19 9:30am: I been coming here off and on for the past 12 years because I'm a home owner in the neighborhood. I was impressed as I walk up today and an older gentleman was thoroughly cleaning the outside of this establishment like I've never seen before!! Inside was nice and clean too probably thanks to the same gentleman. But the service was horrible. My waitress has been here for awhile because I remember years ago when she was brand new. It appears to me this place has new management and it's being run by children who's spending more time chatting amongst themselves than attending to their guest. They're rarely greeting their customer's and their service policies have been compromised by poor management. I watched one guess walk in sit awhile and finally walked out and the place wasn't very busy with 8 employees on the floor not being attentive. The person who I believe is in charge has made this place an employee social club exchanging smart phones on the floor, laughing and ignoring customers. My many years of eating here eventhough it was the cleanest it is the worse managed...
Read moreI’ve been to Waffle House locations in every damn state across this country. Coast to coast. Day and night. And NEVER in my life have I seen some ridiculous bullshit like this.
I pulled up at 5:55 AM—place says 24/7 on Google, as always. Lights are on, staff is inside, but guess what? They tell me “we’re closed.” Not even a to-go coffee, nothing. Just straight up “get lost” energy.
Are you kidding me?! What kind of Waffle House turns people away at 6 in the morning? I wasn’t asking for a full meal, I just wanted a damn cup of coffee. Something ANY other Waffle House would’ve gladly served without blinking.
This was hands down the shadiest, most pathetic excuse for a Waffle House I’ve ever been to. You got people inside, lights on, and you’re telling folks you’re closed? If that’s not some lazy, unprofessional BS, I don’t know what is.
To the crew that was in there—you really couldn’t be bothered to pour a single cup of coffee? You make the whole brand look bad. Corporate needs to get on this location ASAP.
Trash service. Zero respect. Don’t even bother...
