We had not been there before and will never go back again. My husband and my food was really good but my daughters food was terrible. We ordered her a chicken quesadilla and when it came both we were amazed at the amount of chicken on this thing. More than we have ever seen, especially for a kid's meal (very light on cheese, nearly non-existent). She takes her first bite, gives it a weird look and starts pealing the chicken out of the tortilla and just eating the tortilla. Toward the end of the meal I tried to get her to eat a few more bites of the chicken and she was refusing. So I popped a bite in my mouth just to try it - and almost got sick. My husband took a bite and agreed the chicken tasted 'off'. I go to the counter to pay and tell the manager the chicken in the kids meal was bad and instead of apologizing, looking shocked, or embarrassed, or offering to credit the inedible food he just said "Ok, thank you"....took my card and charged for the meal. So this is what angers me so much about this whole thing... my daughter got that chicken you were trying to dump. We know that is why there was so much of it on a kids meal - your cook knew it was going to need to be tossed but to save on costs he served it to a child. Read moreAlthough the food was good and despite our table being dirty, the waiter and I am pretty sure the owner Martin had terrible customer service. One of the members in our party ordered a few items al la carte, the waiter (Martin) acted like we were twisting his arm to ask to add pico to a bed of lettuce. Finally after waiting 15 minutes after our meal was complete and awkwardly making blank stares at each Martin brings us our bill. To our surprise we noticed that the bill was not split appropriately. Oh boy oh boy was that a bad omen for what happened next. We approached the counter. One of the gentleman in my group offered to ask for them to split the bill. When he asked Martin to split the bill he let out a loud huff. Martin then asked what we ordered. The bill was in front of Martin, the very same person that took our order. He asked again, this time not as nice of a tone. During the time we were trying to help straighten out the order he was mumbling under his breath. Long story short it was not a good experience. Martin did say this was his fault for not asking about splitting a check. We'll give 1 point for that in comparison to our entire visit. Also, dont order tacos unless you want cold and soggy shells. Read moreGreat food, excellent service. Only issue I have is that they don't seem to care about health codes. I have eaten here several times and have now seen two different womn on two different occasions change their infants' diapers RIGHT IN THEIR BOOTH. The restaurant doesn't have any changing tables in the toilets, but that doesn't mean you change your kid IN THE BOOTH! What was worse was that this last time at least THREE staff members walked by during the 2 minute process and SAID NOTHING. It's absolutely disgusting! The parents then wrapped the diaper up and left it in the kid's car seat!
The first time I saw it happen, the waitstaff didn't even clean the booth! At least that woman had the decency to oy expose the back tables to e. coli! Totally disgusting. It's actually making me wonder if it's worth the risk to come back here. Good food isn't enough when you risk sitting in...
