Tender Towne — Restaurant in Union Township

My dad and I drove thru the Ohio Pike location a couple of nights ago. We have had great experiences every other time we have gone there, but after this I can say for sure that we will be going to Raising Cane's from now on. We ordered our food at about 8:30, so an hour and a half before close. I have worked in fast food and other restaurants before, so I understand that it's frustrating for customers to arrive at the last minute, or hour. Also I know how these kinds of issues are supposed to be handled, and that is not what we have seen so far.

So, the issues were that in one of our two meals there was a clump of hair. My dad had chosen that one (randomly because we both got the same thing) and couldn't eat it. He really wanted to just go get a new one then. At this point it was about quarter til 9. He called and got the run around and was told to call back tomorrow, so he did and again got the run around. Also my meal was wet with grease and the chicken breading was soggy and just a mess that wouldn't even stick to the chicken.

I've seen how calling the restaurant yields zero results. This is just to let you and anyone else know that Raising Cane's has a new loyal customer, and I'm posting this exact statement on any review sites I can find, so Google Maps, Yelp, etc. Thank you and I'm sure Raising Cane's will thank...

$26.57 with no drinks got to add another $4.50 for them y'all are not that good or butterbees stop. Drive down the road I was not going to say it but for 2 for piece combos and you get drinks it's only $23.58 at canes... Yup I went there and I am leaving it you guys are not worth $31 I hope you change you guys change or I hope to watch you guys run yourself into the ground after all these years might as well be price gouging at them prices..

Menu has changed prices listed are misleading next to 4 top states $12.99 you would think that includes the drink no just apparently the frys and toast hope you don't want something to wash that down or if you do hit up somewhere else because you will get charged another $2.17 listed elsewhere on the menu not clearly stated with the combo price making the correct cost before tax $15.16 your welcome I did the math now fix the misleading menu.

Edit the Fry's are indeed back and I did not get asked for a tip in a drive thru!

Original. Gone down hill. Not the Frys advertised on the menu nor anything stating the change. Also asking for a 22% tip and a drive thru window do you no longer pay your employees or just trying to pass the savings on to us? Not...

Food quality has always been hit or miss here...will my fries be hot or cold? Tenders fresh? Maybe. 80/30 chance cold--like today. To make matters worse they got rid of steak fries and replaced them with the same nasty fries everyone else has, (actually worse!). Tenders weren't holding the breading, sauce was watered down and garlic bread tasted like plain toast. I even asked when placing my order if the fries were fresh, to which I was told they're made fresh for every order--which I highly doubt. And to make your drive thru experience awkward, the cashier will show you a hand-held device that gives an option for a tip! I. DON'T. TIP. IN. A. DRIVE-THRU! Furthermore, I don't appreciate being put in that awkward position! Pay your staff a better wage without expecting your (former) customers to do it on your behalf! This is the chicken capital of the tri state, so there are other options available to customers. This is just another example of a restaurant switching things up, away from what worked, and not...
