I recently visited Five Guys and was thoroughly disappointed by my experience. Right from the outset, the staff's nonchalant attitude towards customers set a poor tone. What particularly caught my attention was the lack of personal hygiene, especially the staff's unkempt fingernails, which was off-putting.
The cleanliness of the establishment left much to be desired. The soda and condiment area was swarming with gnats, creating a very unhygienic environment. This was further compounded by the state of the bathrooms, which were nothing short of disgusting.
To make matters worse, the tables were dirty and created an unwelcoming atmosphere for dining. It's clear that there's a severe lack of attention to cleanliness and customer service, which reflects poorly on the management. The owners need to take a more active role in overseeing the operations and ensuring basic standards are met.
Unfortunately, my experience was so unpleasant that I ended up throwing out my food and leaving the restaurant. It felt like I had just donated $18 to a place that doesn't value its customers or their dining experience. This visit was a total letdown and has discouraged me from returning...
Read moreI've tried five guys before several years ago at the other location. I remember not being fond of the cheeseburger I got, and today I thought I'd give it another shot. The fries tasted like any other fries with peanut oil, the cheeseburger was rather tasteless. You can dress your own burger the way you'd dress up your sub at a sub shop. I chose to add grilled onions, lettuce and mushrooms and pickles. The wait was not long, custumer service was good, but the burger, which comes with two patties was just like I remembered from years past: Awful, tastless, greasy, so greasy, the bread was soggy. I managed to eat it all, coached myself too, being that I spent the money already. Five Guys is just not my cup of tea. Smash Burger is more stimulating to the taste buds, and even 2 dollars cheaper depending if you get the same exact thing: a cheeseburger and fries. Heck, The restaurant Fridays has declined through the years, but even their cheesburgers are better. Burger king is better than Five Guys too. If you close your eyes and eat a burger from BK, you'd think it came off the grill at a summer bar-b-q. Mcdonalds is a little bit better too, maybe on the same level...
Read moreOnly reasons i'm giving 3 starts are because of the chick who took our order and there fact that they had a coke freestyle machine.
They were SO SLOW we waited about 20mins for our food. And there were problems . . . The minor problem both burgers were on 2 top buns (honestly no biggie there), speaking of the buns . . . they were OVER toasted send had a burnt ring around them, the MAJOR problem the burgers were PINK on the inside . . . I couldn't eat half of my burger because of how pink it was!! My husband's was medium well which is fine for him but mine was medium rare . . . I didn't want to say something or give it back because i'd already eaten half seems didn't want to deal with the weird of the girls working the stove or fryer. I heard someone else complaining about not everything they wanted being on any of the 6 burgers they ordered and they all have her attitude and I wasn't in the mood for it. I felt sick the rest of the night because I ton 2 bites of the VERY PINK part of the burger. I've never had this problem at any other Five Guys we've been too. I was highly upset and...
