Filled a prescription here yesterday via their telephone automated service and was told it would be ready by 11:30am that day. My husband goes to pick it up and the pharmacy is closed..??? I call back to confirm that it was in fact this location and the status of the prescription, and was told the same thing via the automated line. Were the pharmacy staff just out to lunch inexplicably? Why was no sign posted about the change in hours? I called again to try to talk to a pharmacist, and was on hold for about an hour being repeatedly told that there was "1 caller ahead of me." Noone ever picked up. The pharmacy never opened that day. Then today I get a text that the prescription is filled and ready for pick-up. We don't live in the area (we only refilled it there yesterday because we were closeby). I call again to talk to pharmacy staff so that they can return the prescription, so that I can get it refilled at a Walgreens near my home. Have now been on hold for an hour - it plays on-hold music for a few minutes, then ringing tone, then sounds like it gets picked-up by someone but then immediately placed back on hold to the on-hold music. There's something really wrong with the pharmacy staff here - are they all just checked-out?? No longer answering calls or bothering...
Read moreLove this Walgreens. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Never had a problem and always acknowledged. My 6 yr old granddaughter was visiting, and upon entering the Vauxhall store, she said "Wow Mimi, it's so clean and nice in here". Yes, there's well-lit spacious aisles, and I usually find everything I'm looking for. There's a nearby pharmacy that may have a more robust inventory selection, but it's claustrophobic with shoppers too close passing through the aisles. I've also encountered surly employees who just don't want to bothered. I can say though, that last time I visited, a nice Latina cashier was surprisingly super. I...
