Nova's Coffee Shop — Restaurant in Union

Mother’s Day Brunch First Off I am a Mom but I treated my mom and family to brunch for Mother’s Day. The menu looked nice and the rating seemed strong.

We were a table of 7 and called ahead. There was no one there when we arrived cool. Even so drinks took at least 20 minutes and we were never asked if we needed refills.

Food order took another 30-40 minutes to come out and two of the orders were incorrect but we kept them to avoid additional wait times.

One thing that super bothered me. My youngest who just turned 4 got her food last. Like why? I ordered her silver dollar pancakes but order was wrong and pancakes had a griddle taste.

My order was chicken and waffles. The chicken was NOT edible. I am not sure you could call that chicken it was freezer burn, gammy and had no chew. Please do yourself a favor and skip that meal. I actually stayed hungry because the waffles were child size portion. FYI food was cold.

I paid and tipped which I always feel strongly about but will not be returning.

What a wonderful spot in the Township of Union. At first I thought it was a pizza shop but to my utmost surprise it's a wonderful Cafe. The ambiance is serene inviting and quite relaxing. The positive plaques and vibes along with the positive energy of the staff makes you feel so welcomed. Sarai is absolutely amazing wonderful and just a star in excellent and awesome customer care. Jose what can I say he is just absolutely awesome. His customer care is over the top. And then Philomena while on her day off greeted us with so much love, it made you feel at home and part of the VITORIA family. Hey wait a minute I am..i even enjoyed a great game of tic tac toe. This is my new happy place. I will definitely be back oh and the coffee, my breakfast sandwich and cinnamon swirl cake...

Nova is a breath of fresh air! The place is spotless and everything is beyond appetizing. I love the vibe when you walk inside. It’s hard to believe that you are not in some tropical vacation destination. Everyone is friendly and the food is extraordinarily delicious. Lucia treated me like a member of the family. I highly recommend this place and cannot wait to get back and explore the menu. I had an omelette with spinach, mushrooms, and cheese. It comes with your choice of starch and I picked home fries.
