Fried Crispy Chicken — Restaurant in Union

(we paid $34.76 for 2 combos, order of fried chicken and a side of garlic sauce) EVERYTHING WE ORDERED WAS DELICIOUS!! My husband and I drove 45 minutes just to try this spot, and let me tell you—it did not disappoint.

We ordered:

5-piece drumsticks – a little pricey at first glance, but once you see and taste the chicken, you’ll understand why. Crispy, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. 2 lunch combos (before 3pm l. We went on Labor Day, 9/1/25) – one with House Special Rice (loaded with shrimp, chicken, and pork), and one with Chicken & Broccoli paired with Chicken Fried Rice (extra \$2.50, but worth it).

The place was PACKED, and from the looks of it, it’s probably like that most days thanks to their ratings. Customer service was good, but they’re clearly short-staffed. The sisters running the floor did their best to keep everyone fed and happy, but it took about 40–45 minutes for our food to come out. Honestly though, I didn’t mind—it’s one of those spots where you’ve just got to be patient, because once the food hits the table, it’s worth it.

The food itself? Amazing. The chicken was seasoned to perfection, crispy on the outside and juicy inside. The fried rice was flavorful without being overly salty or greasy, and the Chicken & Broccoli was solid—but the rice and chicken were definitely the stars. We originally wanted the center breast, but they were sold out, so we went with drumsticks and had no regrets.

We also tried a side of garlic sauce, which was thicker and more gelatinous than I prefer, but the sweet hot sauce? That’s the one. (Check the menu for sauce prices.)

What really stood out to me was that the food didn’t leave me with that heavy, greasy “regret” feeling you sometimes get after eating Chinese takeout. Everything tasted clean, fresh, and fried in good oil.

All in all, we loved it, and I’ll 100% be making that 45-minute drive again for the wings and rice. Next time, I’ll probably order ahead to...

I was beyond excited to try this restaurant out because all the reviews I've seen on Social media have been so positive. I went on my lunch break and no lie, it took 35 minutes for me to get my order (I ordered 4 wings with fried rice). There seemed to be no organization in the way the food was coming out, they weren't calling by name or order # on the receipt but screaming out the order so people were confused because multiple people had the same order. At exactly 32 minutes of waiting I went up to the counter to ask how comes people who ordered after me were getting serviced but I was told they ordered on line but I was sitting there watching and waiting while this kid ordered his food 4 people after me. At that point I admittedly was frustrated and was getting ready to request a refund and go back to the office. But the lady at the counter grabbed a bag from behind her (online orders) and gave it to me advising me it was my chicken wings and fried rice. I race back to the office starving with 15 minutes of lunch to spare and to my disappointment I got some cold greasy wings and cold limp fries 🤬🤬🤬. It smelled so good, I could only imagine what my correct order would have smelled & tasted like. I tossed the fries because they looked like immediate heart burn. I ate a wing and despite this disappointment the wing was really good but so greasy I stopped at 1 because it wasn't risk the heartburn. I called the restaurant to let them know what happened. Spoke with a lovely young man who apologized profusely, took my information and said a manager would call me back.

I just want the restaurant to make it right 😌😌

I saw this resturant on tiktok and I am so happy I decided to give it try. So good!! My husband ordered 4 drumsticks and pork fried rice (picture shows 3 drumsticks because my husband couldnt wait to try one haha)...the chicken was amazing and super crunchy! The pork fried rice was also so good! I got the house lomein and sesame chicken, both delicious. We also ordered boneless pork ribs and 2 egg rolls both so good, the egg rolls are different from what I'm used to getting at a chinese restaurant but still very good.
